By popular demand... lol8[1].gif

RRL
Tagged Large, but P2P is like 25.5"
Doesn't look extremely big.

It looks like the stores here are stuffing the racks one last time before everything goes to short-sleeved hell. I spent like $40 on clothes ... for myself. What is happening!

Stopped by Marshall's on the way home. Anyone ever seen the PRL selvedge denim? It was decent... better than most of the other jeans, but made in China? I didn't know there was any selvedge made in China. Also stil some RLBL shirts and some RLBL denim, which was just okay, but had a nice cut.

I almost picked up the one pair of RRL slim raw selvedge denim there. They were my size and felt great, but black, which I wouldn't wear, and $100, so... If they were indigo or cheaper I would have. Surprised as hell to find them here, though.

That was me. No negativity meant by it, just reminded me of the most sartorial of seasons.

Selvedge is made in China and Turkey or maybe the fabric is from a different country and assembled in China. Those are pretty high retail jeans depending on the model (up to $400)

Picked up three sweaters, a great blue lambswool made in Ireland, a green cashmere thing, an old 100% wool abercrombie that is too big, and some ties.

No worries. In retrospect, that came off more brusque than intended. I was on mobile in a store. Just intended to explain the method behind my madness.

And I was right too: That jacket is officially spoken for. So that'll be its solo run, for me anyway.

Picked up the Trussardi -- white linen/cotton blend in a jeans style, tapered leg, 29.5 x 30. Mistake?

Also grabbed a J Crew beige sweater for me. And some weird Italian tee shirt. And a NWT Allen Edmonds belt at a different store. Pics later maybe?

Update: on the tom ford suit scammer wrongwroks and his other sf name m0bbie Rachapoll Phromyarat scammer, someone hacked his skype and spoke to him, he straight up admitted he did it and said thats what he does for a living, apparently he lives in Bangkok, he said he wont scam the same person twice and hes not going to return the money or the suit, (I wish the mods could verify with ip addresses) so heres a warning to you guys.

I am on my last full day of vacation in Bangkok RIGHT NOW, lol. It's Thai New Year (Songkran) and the city is in raging party mode. I think the cops would laugh in my face if I walked into the station to report a stolen suit.

Quick history:  I found a place that has been processing a huge donation of suits that happen to hit my dimensions perfectly.  I've picked up 18 suits now from either Neiman Marcus or Barney's New York.  Only problem is they process about 4-5 suits every 3 days or so.

Just snagged another 5 suits.. didn't recognize some of the names.  If anything is unusual, I'll post it.

One thing I DID take photos of is this J Peterman bag.  Anybody know what to call it?  I've been scouring image databases and found similar items called their "counterfeit mailbag" (a real bag by J Peterman making a replica of an old mailbag).  Looks somewhat like a messenger bag, but I've not been able to make a visual match to any certain product.  It has really nice leather with a wonderful leather aroma -- made it Italy.

I think the technical term for that would be "man purse," no?

So a couple weeks ago I refused to poast a pic of a thrifted Hermes tie that to me was so revolting that it looked like someone vomited orange sherbet in a field of dandelions going to seed. I said just wait 'til it makes it to Spooland.

Here you go!

I do have a brag, he makes my greatest tie find ever, an E Marinella, look just stunning. I've had this a year-plus, and the scale of the pattern seems to not go with every shirt-coat combo I own. So I am releasing it back into the sea, the StyleForum Circle of Life as Spoo enjoys referring to it. It's a great tie, it makes me want moar E Marinellas! Probably will never find one again, sigh

I offered my services to proxy things from Naples a little while ago. I'm sending out a PM to those that were interested (there will be two PM lists as I think you can only include 8/PM). If anyone else has interest in it, let me know!
