At $60? Yes. Be sure to keep the tags on, then sell, sell, sell... icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

(Actually, if you plan to sell, just check eBay's completed listings and see what they go for to determine whether the profit [and the wait] is worth it)

Thanks Noob for the heads up.

Sorry for the crappy lighting.
Note the awesome red cords and the highly disCORDant black shoos. Didn't get the smile or pose quite right, and not sure I captured the spirit of the style. But I did my best.

Hans - I think that particular tie might have come from Chet. But I will happily take the credit.

One of my favorite fits of yours yet (other than the black shoes, sorry).Reminds me of that season everyone was so crazy about in 2012. "Fall," I believe the kids called it.

And I would murder you for that square. Awesome.

So sorry about that! shog[1].gif

I had that in mind when I wrote that, and then I reversed your names. Thank you for pointing it out. I actually received packages from you guys within about a 24 hour time span and you were both really generous with it. I also forgot to mention you for the tie I wore on Wednesday...I'm not sure if you recognized it or not!

Thanks again to both of you, and Chet: sorry for the mix up!

Thanks! Given my own devices, I would have gone with different shoes -- probably my beater Jodhpurs given the weather.

But there's a war on.

No, sorry, random Winston Churchill moment.

There's a WAYWRN competition today for homage-ing (is that a word) another regular poster's style. I was doing a particular dude there, who always wears black shoes.

The square is complements of Chet, and was effing free, because that's the kind of guy Chet is. I have yet to repay that debt....

This has been a great couple of weeks for me.  First I found a pair of Raleigh Denim jeans in my size.  Then today I found a pair of Alden chukkas in fantastic shape, and they fit!  Almost makes me believe in a higher power (not that I've done anything to deserve this).

The weird thing is that I just traded Ian Erickson a pair of CDBs that were too big for me, so I was thinking about buying a pair of chukkas.  Even weirder is that I found these at a thrift store that never has anything decent.

Oxxford suit
Attolini sportcoat (!)
Kiton trousers
Luciano Barbera trousers
Brioni shirt
Ties by Karl Lagerfeld, Luciano Barbera, and Emilio Pucci
Also, a couple nice madras jackets that should flip well.

Dan is still out in the field; I wish him luck and look forward to his recap later.

Here are pics. I still have to edit them properly to get colors and exposures right, but this'll do for now.
