Use it to clean up after an oil change.

My grandmother (87) calls them blucheehosen/blujeahosen. I'm not sure how it would be spelled, but it's her interpretation (with the addition of her dialect) of "blue jean hosen."

You can always measure it to determine the size.

I'm looking for a model name... I'll do more research, but haven't found it yet.

So, Tuesday, Brianpore asked everyone to keep an eye out for Tommy Bahama shirts. This somehow led me down an ebay search rabbit trail which ended in the vintage Hawaiian Shirt listings. I made it a personal goal, not only to find some Tommy Bahama shirts in size M for Brian, but also to do better searches of the casual shirt section.

Today, a mere 2 days later, I found this.

Where's the drool shortcut on the smartphone interface? That's an awesome find there. I'm sure no one else will appreciate it...

I've found a few shirts from the 60s and 70s, but nothing like this.

What a joy this has been! Drama queens getting bent out of shape, bigots not understanding why people might find what they say offensive and exclusionary, a healthy dose of misogyny, white knights defending the female, and the sensitive buttercup brigade in an uproar over a word. To top it all off, we had an implied threat of violence in the form of a shooting should these insults be offered up face to face. It is almost, but not quite, like being on USENET back in the day.

It almost made me appreciate what the thread had become: a thinly disguised Craigslist.

I work like 18 hours a day.

I come to this thread to read about something that give me joy, inbetween kids screaming, dogs barking, phones ringing, and measuring 500 ties a week.

I read this thread like a soap opera. You watch it go by and wait for the next plot to develop, see what cliffhanger happens, and to forget about everyday life for a while.

Reading about thrift finds and people doing stuff that I wish I was doing most of the time makes me happy and live vicariously through you. I enjoy hearing about your personal accomplishments both thrifty and not.

Now, please. Can everyone shut the f up about how they wish things were one way or another, what words and intonations may or may not have meant, and show me some fucking goodwill tags popped. Please. Or I will rickroll you all with Macklemore.

Size 4 Thom Browne OCBD. Fits pretty great. Any idea if "Don Draper" was a retail collaboration with Mad Men? Or maybe this was part of a costume?
