I'm going to agree on Plano. I lived there for 8 years and never would have considered anyone dressing fashionably. Dallas, Ft. Worth, and Flushing are also highly questionable too, especially since they seem to in the top 20. But perhaps that's just an indication of how poorly dressed Americans are?

Obviously the list isn't perfect, but it's relevant for the thrifting thread. The more purchases at high end stores, aka Neiman, Saks, Bergdorf, of which Dallas/Ft.Worth area has a high concentration, the more goodies likely to end up in local thrift stores. Also, having been to Dallas, a lot more people, both male and female are dressed up for daily activities than here in prosperous New England.

Thrift fit today. These pants are absolutely amazing and are partly responsible for vaulting Barbera stuff to the top of my "wants" list.

nice fit Andro, I tried to get some of those O'Cooney trousers from that insane lot he picked up, but was a little late with the trigger finger!

Oh yeah... In Dallas a woman won't go anywhere (including the gym) without full face makeup on. New England is much more laid back about dress.

jacket looks too big bwoh, it kinda looks like it's just hanging off your body. i think you need to get it taken in a bit.

Thanks man. I was incredibly lucky to snag them - they fit me PERFECTLY without any alterations at all! That is how they arrived to me, not a thing done to them. The leg opening, rise, length, waist, everything is like they were made for me. Seriously, these fit better than most of my post-alterations pants. Really lucked out.

Hmmm. Really? At the waist, you think? This is post-alterations. I actually like how it fits at the waist. If you mean in the chest, I might agree a bit. Unless you're talking about the spoiler pic, because there my arms are all awkwardly outstreched and making it funky.

I just picked up a beautiful Suit at the Sally Ann. Wonder if anyone could help me out with the manufacturer. It's a Michele D'Ambra, made in Italy. Nothing online about it, it's a gem.

Well, it's past midnight and no LA haul, so allow me to dazzle you yawning viewers with what is surely the greatest Robert Graham find EVAR: brown (boom!), corduroy (boom!), medium (pow!), almost subtle! (double boom!). I only wish I could've gotten the color right on my phone....

Also, SUCK IT HATERS! Look at this! Listed a wad of MC stuff on B&S, and converted it into these, my grail shoes. Lanvin (what what?). Buttery leather. Patent toes. Lamb suede panels. Waxed laces. Nylon foamy stuff around the ankles. The interior is made of clouds and smells like pure leather sehks. Witness my almost mid-life crisis in action, padding down the street. Haters gon' hate!

Possibly my favorite thrift find....it fits me, but I will probably take it to the 'Bay with a high BIN/OBO. Don't worry Grendel - this was not thrifted locally....

Thrift fit today... I've got a soft spot in my heart for seersucker suits since I'm from the South... This corded cotton isn't technically seersucker, but it's close enough and it's warm today
