True,

I went to the FedEx St. Jude classic this year and as part of the giant Swag Bag I got, there was a FedEx VV tie which I turned around and sold. (the tourney was awesome, played with Jeff Maggert who led for the first and maybe second day)

The problem is that hate speech is not a joke, even if you take it lightly.

...if I were to post a thrift fit with an orphan pinstripe suit jacket, could we at least turn our petty arguing and debate about what is publicly acceptable back to the topic of clothing?

Sensitive Cunts and Faggots is my new band's name. We are gonna offend so many people!

ok, the last thing i'll say on this is that the word "cunt" is not acceptable to throw around in any context, even a joking context. this is just a fact.

Hit one store as a birthday thrift and found some pretty nice things.

First off ...

Any vintage Brooks Brothers experts. This is an ooooold label, I assume. And who makes clothes in Denmark?

It fits, and it looks like it's the right length. I'll see what my wife has to say.

Then....

BAM.

Orphan. (I assume. It's a very light, almost blue, gray with a herringbone pattern. Couldn't find the pants anywhere.)

But I did reunite these guys...........

The suit is a very slim 40 R, but I think I'm going to have some work done to make it suitable for me (I'd have to hack a tiny bit off the length and, um, let out the pants a bit). It's a veeeery nice piece.

Both were made in Italy by Zegna (I assume?)

Yes, both are Zegna.

Do we need to get Sen. Mitchell up in here?

Happy birthday ATL. It was my birthday yesterday and apparently I'm REALLY old, because I was 29 (for the 13th time).

I went thrifting and I found that my local GW has hiked prices RIDICULOUSLY - ties that were $2 are now almost $6 and shirts they recognize as 'good' were $6.5 and are now $10.50. Oy!

But then I turned around and on the shoe rack mister Edmonds winked at me and beckoned me over. My size, minty fresh Malvern chukka's. Nice.

Then it was off to the SallyA and she annoyed me too, because a Corneliani camel polo coat leapt off the rails and into my arms only for the devastation of the moth variety to reveal itself ffffuuuu.gif

But Sally then redeemed herself too. As the song goes, I bought a skeet blanket. Along with a couple shirts for me...Burberry and Vineyard Vines. smile.gif

All in all, a good day and that was before I opened my birthday gifts to find that my wife got me a nice new male dress form.

I found a Brooks Brothers tie the other night....if I decide not to keep it how much could I flip it for on eBay? How much profit will I make before PayPal rips me off or the dude files a SND?

I passed on some Christian Dior ties a couple Ralph Lauren suits with the green label...should I have picked these up?
