I'm laying in Gloverall duffle coats for next fall. This one's 40 US.
I, too, found Gloverall -- my first ever -- today. After meeting with OCooney, an unbelievably awesome dude. (I took the wrong direction on the pike. Fate, I believe, because then I decided to hit the closest Will in Worcester, and found me the Gloverall with real horn buttons). A bit mothy snacked, but only down to the weave. Is there a way to "re flannel" the weave? OR is this just the way it's gonna be for ever?

MOTHER FREAKER beat me to it!

Just one more gratuitous shoutout to say how awesome Cooney is. Ended up with a boatload of stuff and he damn near wouldn't take my money (but he has no choice since I sent it to him now!). Great guy!

Man I wish I wasn't too square to try something like these.. but I'm almost 40 now -- probably not a good time to start. :)

Maybe when my kids are a little older, I could break out something like this with black socks and sandals to embarrass them...  Of course.. that may be in style by then!

I went to zero stores today (removing sod to expand garden beds and transplanting hydrangeas to a different side of the house) although I did manage to pick up a nearly 6' tall cedar wardrobe off of craigslist for $45.

Wanted to give big thanks to Lesacre for the navy Brooks Brothers blazer I received today - fits perfect, and is exactly what I've been searching for!  icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif Even tossed in a couple of ties that will work perfectly with it - I may have to consider posting a thrift fit at some point because I'm that satisfied with the purchase.  Thanks bro!

A couple of things from today.

Belvest SC. Bottom front pockets are still tacked shut. Is there a part of the tag that says what size it is? Too big for a 40 but doesn't seem big enough to be a 56.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Harley-Davidson women's jean jacket for the wife. It's got pistons for the zipper pulls.

Anybody know who might make pants for Wilkes Bashford?

Bro, 56 is Euro size which is roughly about a 44-46 US.

Can anyone ID these? Uses the European designation of width "F, G, etc" instead of US made width sizes "D, E, EE, EEE, etc" so I'm thinking they are european in origin

Inside has this

fistbump.gif Glad it work out for you! Can't wait to see you rock it with one of those sick ties that you thrifted a few day ago.  Still can't believe you found all that stuff.

Upper right corner "Taglia" is size. 56 is the euro size and works out to around 44-46 in 'merican. Plus it is a long.

Can I also point out how on fire this thread has been lately? Stores around here have made the annual sping switch into tshirt and jorts mode, which means the thrfting is even more dire than usual.

The Lacoste shirts look phony to me as well.  There is a website that sell counterfeits from China and they look similar.  As long as they are not for resale.

Haven't bought anything discount in a while. Coped these two bad boys for about $48. These have been on sale for many many months. I was really surprised to see they were still there along with a Isaia with minor pulls. The Charvets were gone...Boowoo.

The other 2 are the real deal. The purple one isnt, but im keepers on it anyway, and it makes me feel better when it gets trashed inevitably anyway.
