OK, I hit some CT, Ohio & PA shops randomly on an epic 4-day, 1600 mile road trip for non-pleasure reasons (heh, I bought some gear and I had to pick it up...a used but working commercial generator for my house...of all things...from an industrial auctioneer who is related to me) and either the Ryan Macklemore Syndrome oft-discussed here is in full effect, or you bitches already picked them stores clean, or I just was having bad luck....but I got a few things for the closet but nothing to flip.

And nothing to brag about.

Except -- and they have some miles on them, are ancient, somewhat square-toed but they cleaned (and silver polished) up nice...my first Gucci Horsebits...my size, topy'd with toe guards and heel guards...

What ever happened with those shoes you got that were 2 different sizes? Did anyone have any good suggestions?
I was just conditioning the Lobbs I found and noticed that one is 7F and the other is 7 1/2F. ffffuuuu.gif

I think I just reduced my customer base to almost nil. angry.gif

I managed to get the 2 different size Church's sold! I did get a really good answer too. Someone told me that men's feet are usually a bit off. My shoes were different between the widths. So it wasn't too dramatic. Your Lobbs don't sound all that bad either. I'm fairly confident you can still move 'em. Half a size difference might not even be noticeable to the person wearing them.

Real, just an older label from early seasons.

It says it's made in Canada and still has the CYC Design Corporation tag, though so I'm not too sure. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Sick find.  Amazing that a thrift store would have the presence of mind to price it that high.  Also, sucks that it's khaki and not indigo dyed or black.

WTF, when did Details make a comeback? Last I remember, Maxim arrived with its gale-force dumbness, Details had to fold, then GQ and Esquire had to become Details. Now I'm lost. Details is back, and recommending pleats? What does this even mean!

Also, can someone please kindly tell me where to get Plokhov for 90% off? Dyin' here. This shit gave me nightmares!

Details and GQ are for beginners, lunchtime browsing and/or bathroom reading, nothing more. Neither one should be taken too seriously for its 'wisdom'.

I just didn't know Details was back, or when. Or, more to the point, why. GQ and Esquire still have good writers, IMO, it's just heartbreaking they gutted their fiction and journalism and turned their focus to adolescent booby-driven fantasy, all festooned with shitty little drawings and captions meant to compete with the internets.
