I don't have anything to brag - but I think that expectation's been temporarily lifted:

I resorted to threatening to expose this individual (who also, I found, had an active arrest warrant) I was going to post all the info on here unless he sent the jacket or my money. Long story short, he ended up coming out of the dark and sent the jacket so I never had to post it all. But it took almost three months to get it resolved and I honestly believe it wouldn't have turned out right unless I resorted to that threat.

Carry on.

I suspect I know who this member is. Maybe I've been too nice (in the morning I may PM you to ask what threats were effective, see below for why "in the morning." Then again, I'm only writing off two bits or a tweed jacket.

But I bet you can still find some of that on the banned ebay buyers list.

Just got home from work to read the rest of this shit storm. I'm thinking dude will just return the suit after reading the last 100 posts or so. Sorry Eddie, this shit fucking sucks. On another note, I had a GOOD trade with our respectable member Ocoony, dude is a seriously great guy. This came in the mail for me yesterday. I plan on swapping out the brass buttons with horn. Talk about fuck you!

Hanger makes it look like it's got huge shoulder pads, they are in fact normal size. He also sent me this badass LP linen shirt! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

How dare you guys post your thrift finds in the midst of the passionate talks of principles, extreme measures, English accents, burden of proof, and angry mob mentality!

Eddie, i hope it works out for you and your brother. Scammers don't belong in a comunity of people who pride themselves on having class and being a gentleman,

( and /or lady) .

I'll just say this... I now know why you brag about skeet blankets... To paraphrase a crazy dead Aussie, "Krikey!"...

Dave Brubeck has a good one too, called Bossa Nova USA, I highly recommend it if you dig the other two. nod[1].gif

My recent finds - had some luck finding stuff in a 44!

Hugo Boss 100% cotton coat - Italian made - 44- Sahara model.  Sure looks legit, but I can't find a record of this model anywhere. (ignore the stripe of sunlight) - Likely not available

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Found my first RLPL shirt (French cuffs) - Made in Italy and it is exactly the shirt I wanted.. just a little too big..  17 1/2 neck - available

Also my first Etro tie:

Also found a Pal Zileri suit - about a 44 in the jacket, but the pants are too small for me and don't have enough material to tailor (35x28) - available

Found my first Samuelsohn : Blue blazer - 40 - Available

And a RPL Camelhair sportcoat - 44 - Tentatively not available

Loved that read. Fascinating and sad how a great brand died. Reminded me too, if anyone digs rounded glasses, I just got my pair of these:

Good deal imo, they're awaiting my prescription.

Sn0wan, that blazer sure looks to be a suit jacket. Go find the pants and we can talk about what you'd like for the suit if the measurments suit me :)

Anyone know this maker? For me regardless (feels nice, my size, nice color), but I'd be interested to know before I remove the tags. Besides being qualitatively nice, couldn't resist NWT, Made in Italy, 100% Sea Island Cotton for $5.
