Still smells oily, but might need to be re-oiled/waxed....not sure how to tell. It seems nearly unworn, only a tiny smudge here and there. Detachable hood, throat latch, zipped and snapped enclosure. Double zipped rear game pocket, reinforced shoulders and forearms, double snapped waterproof poly cuffs.

That Barbour looks awfully dry to me. I'd re-proof it yesterday. Regardless, a great pickup. You don't often see that configuration.

AppleMark

$29. Something to consider next time you see a stained Hermes.

Nicely played. The CC never disappoints.

Thanks,

Hmm. It's only $30 to have Barbour reproof it for me. Sounds worth it, considering the waxy mess I would probably make of it.

Not really a thrift price, but I'm really stoked about this eBay pickup. I can't believe I got it for so little:

Man, that is cool.  As Barrel said, would look great on Easter.  Almost makes me wish some of the Hermes, Ferragamo, etc. were stained to justify doing this to them.  Some of the most ridiculous neckties make awesome bowties!

Oh, and I want to jump on the bandwagon and give a big shout-out to size 38R for one of my best trades ever, involving multiple suits and accessories.  Haven't even shipped yet, but excited!  Thanks also to Tubs for being an incredible guy.

BTW, you got those shell Cambridges from me.

Edit: The second part was meant for Eazye, but the quote didn't show up.

Ahhhh, that's right. I've had so many trades with everybody here that it's hard to keep track of what I got from whom. fistbump.gif

It's really easy. Get a tin from J Crew for $12. Use a hair dryer after you slather it on to re-heat it and get it to soak in.

I don't think that coat has ever been waxed, though.

It sure smells a lot like mink oil and feels waxy. However, the pics of the new ones are the same light green color.
