One pair of Cheaney Camel skin grain leather derbies in excellent near new shape. They had just arrived that day and the store worker, who generally knows her shoes, had no clue on how exotic this shoe was. They are incredibly comfortable and not dried out.

I picked up a lighter charcoal SB 2B Hickey Freeman suit at a local charity shop for $2.50. The pants were perfect and the jacket is in the shop for some minor touch-ups. The front pockets were still sewed shut. I must be a pretty average size because I tend to have good luck finding good fits at thrift stores. Or I'm not picky enough.

not a bad haul this week; a Pal Zileri wool/cashmere coat $6, Grenson shoes $5.29, Canali shirt $6 and a real nice Orsini Collezione camel topcoat in mint shape for $10. Anyone familiar with the brand Orsini? I recognized the name from the forum but then realized that is the name of a frequent poster and searching Orsini just gets his posts as results. It has a "tessuto Italiano" tag on the collar but no fabric composition label. No matter, it's a keeper anyway, just curious if anyone has any info.

Amongst all the $60 Ike Behar folded shirts at NM Last Call I found a Corneliani shirt marked at $19.99, which after the markdowns came to $13 and some change. Original price was $210. A very nice light green with pinstripes that I'd call a bluish lavender.

At the thrift store I found a BR linen shirt for $1.50, BB middle gray pants for $3 and a BB green tie for $1.50. The pants still had the extra button in the back pocket and looked to be pretty new.

Hits this weekend;

An Italian raglan-sleeved tweed overcoat in a really nice fabric

A RTW shirt by a provincial maker with nice touches like shanked MOP buttons

A Helmut Lang slim-fit city raincoat with reflective detailing, perfect for cycling around town

A bespoke Couch and Hoskin sportcoat in a nice plaid which only needs a little alteration.

Misses;

A wonderful pair of tan and green Alexander McQueen laced boots which were a little too small

A handful of Hermes ties that were looking a bit tired

Four amazing bespoke waistcoats that fitted like a glove, with no sign of the rest of the suits...

I found a great BB (extra) small wool coat. I'm not sure if it's a coat, or a cardigan (or sweater); heavy black wool, unlined (great job sealing the free edges), high neck that doens't like being set down into the collar. Says Made in England. I'm a smaller guy so usually dismiss most BB things; this sweater jacket is amazing and fits me amazing through the body (sleeves a little short). Clearly the label ahs gotten to me because I think it looks like a more english cut jacket.
