I did get one GW a box of xmas cookies, but they have so many employees only a few actually knew who it was. You're definitely right, though, and it would work much better at a smaller store with a handful of workers.

RE: Three buttons and thrifting

While two buttons look best from most brands - i still love the Neapolitan 3/2 roll - particularly for an odd jacket.

The Dark Knight hasn't taken that away from us has it?

"Oh, you going up North?" "Yeah, I travel up there a few times a year, that's why I'm buying all these jackets in random sizes. That's also why I did the same thing last week, gonna be cold as a motherfucker up there, you know?"

I briefly glanced at those. They are shrink to fit. So after soak, they should shrink at least an inch.

Yeah, a guy posted a review of the size 34 1944s and said they had a 36" waist pre-wash, 35" post.

I have lost 18 lbs in 5 weeks, so if they don't fit now I hope they will soon. Maybe could wear them unwashed for a bit?

I think they are still worth a try. Negative reviews will always be over-represented on sites like that. Happy customers are less likely to post, while frustrated customers want to vent as much as possible.
