OK, really? Not a single popcorn?

Well, maybe the finds will get some respect at least.

First thing to say is: Met up with GM-H. Super nice dude. Had a great time watching him find all the cool stuff I breezed past! And then be nice enough to give it to me!! So most of this stuff is either directly or indirectly attributable to him -- either because he found it, or because he was my good luck charm.

I spent Soooooooo much money on these. But they're on my bucket list, so, there's that.

Oh, also, thrift fit. Unlikely to be as well received as Monday's, but it was cold and inclement, and I rocked the hell out of this Anderson & Sheppard CORDUROY suit.

Edit: True story, when I was trying to talk the consignment store owner off her exorbitant price, she goes: Those went out recently. There were 8 of them originally. 6 of them sold on day 1. So, no, I'll be keeping the price as is.

No pictures, but I found this exact suit at a discount store on yellow tag clearance for $70.

That's so short, I'd mistake it for a wimminz

Speaking of, forgot to mention: GM-H and I found a Rive Gauche today, too. Wimminz. Passed.

Holy shit! Was size? 40S????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately not....its a 46R, fits probably like a 44S (as GMMcL noted, the jacket is definitely shorter than standard).

Armani and Dunhill look legit to me.  Valentino probably is, but it doesn't matter...leave it.  I doubt Aquascutum is faked (I've never seen one at least).  Not sure what the last one is.

It's only 2 Kiton Suits, a recent Zegna Suit, two Brionis, 2 recent PRL suits, 4 beautiful pairs of Church's, a RLPL shirt, two RLBL shirts, a T&A, an $$$ hermes, some RRL, and a Loro Piana tee.

 

I have been searching for a pair of boots such as these for over a year now! WANTY!

On Tuesday, I was at Zip's Dry Cleaning ($2 for ANY garment! SRSLY!) waiting for a cotton PRL sport coat that I had in for a spot on the lapel. The gentleman next to me was also waiting for a shirt that had not been included in his last lot and the manager was looking for it. The man, in his late 60's or early 70's, was becoming agitated at the loss of his prized, short sleeved white shirt.

"It's a Claybrooke!" he stated with authority. "I just KNEW they would lose it!", he said, mostly to me as if seeking validation for his loss.

Just then, the manager came out from his office, triumphantly carrying the man's shirt and held it up for his approval, displaying the collar tag for identification purposes.

"Oh yeah. Stafford! That's right!", he proclaimed. He looked at me again so that I could bask in his fantastic stroke of luck. "How fortunate for you," I murmured and as I inched slowly away to the other side of the lobby, I could feel my skin shriveling from my body.
