That kiton has been worn a TON. look at how worn down the edges of the pocket are in the pic with the fabric tag, fabric probably has a ton of shine to it. Crazy price. Rule of thumb - if wowniceshirt is selling it, it's most likely overpriced, because they just bought it from somebody else on Ebay and have marked it up 2x. Also, those buttons look super chintzy and did not come with that jacket.

Thanks - I had this fear. Appreciate the help

Unrelated to thrifting but I was wondering what are UZ guyz' thoughts on tie knots? I mean what are your favorite knots? Half Windsor is my go to knot when I go to interviews. When I'm dressing casually, like a SC paired with some cords or denim, I go for the Four in Hand knot. I find it easier to form the dimple with the latter.

^ Four in hand always—except maybe a double four in hand if the knot is too small or the tie too long.

Thinking about switching to this one though smile.gif

...he wants $389 for something that cost $270 (according to the fairly obvious tag) new?

First you must reach the tenth degree of sartorial arts, at which point a heavenly being in a white Loro Piana cashmere robe will appear and teach you. They call it "the double holy **** knot."

Edit: Or what DanM said.

Rarely find much in my college town when I'm down at school, except the occasional shirt and such. Was nice to come away with a few half-decent things today.

Gitman Bros. SS Green Gingham Plaid Shirt sz Medium but fits big imo, Available.

Luciano Barbera Collezioni Sartoriale Blazer in my size. Definitely a rare find for the area I found it in, any ideas on the maker?

Hello guys. Came across a few interesting finds due to the fact that they are at the "99-cent only store". All of them have the same generic made in china paper $11.95 tags attached (still 99 cents each). Many of them have a chinese or korean sticker that was placed over the actual content/made-in tags. I peeled off the sticker on the Armani tie to reveal Silk Made in Italy.

Are these legit?

OK, really? Not a single popcorn?

Well, maybe the finds will get some respect at least.

First thing to say is: Met up with GM-H. Super nice dude. Had a great time watching him find all the cool stuff I breezed past! lol8[1].gif And then be nice enough to give it to me!! So most of this stuff is either directly or indirectly attributable to him -- either because he found it, or because he was my good luck charm.

As usual, let's start small:

Tee shirt:

Yes, yes it can.
Now, before you get too excited, I dropped a LOT of coin on this one. Consignment find, not thrift.

Love the fit, too. Great to see that awesome A&S suit in action!
