For identifying decades visit the Vintage Fashion Guild - they have a label resource (Versace: http://vintagefashionguild.org/label-resource/versace/) and various forums where you can post pic's for their experts to tell you what decade. Usually 12-24 hour turnaround. Nice people loving vintage. Ciao, Vlassis

This is known as the "Ike" jacket. Nice find!

I used to back before the whole thrift format switch. Since then, I've stuck to just this thread (seriously). Not sure why people often consider Diesel, 7FAM and the like SW&D stuff. Definitely not.

A few days ago I was working on a music video at a bookstore downtown and saw this...

Findin' Margiela even when I'm not looking.

I was at my local thrift shop and came across a dior tie (seemed very dated and ugly colours) an Armani black suit jacket (italy, no pants) and a Boss jacket (usa, super 100, wool). I didn't buy any of this stuff because it was too large for me. Any idea on how much this stuff would generally sell for incase I want to start trades/ selling?

Here, this website provides a pretty good primer on what prices you should ask for for those admittedly awesome finds:

I understand that particular thread falls under SW&D. In every one of my outfits I posted, I was wearing denim so I think that qualifies me. Besides, there are others who posted while wearing suits. Either way, I started to explorer other threads. But this is by far my favorite thread! I WILL NEVER LEAVE! colgate.gif

When it comes to bow ties, I used to wear them with plaid shirts and denim, thinking that was the super uber cool but unpopular thing to do until I saw this.

Now, I just save them for my dog to wear when out on a stroll.

Welcome to the thread. Now please spend the next few weeks reading it from the very beginning. Seriously. The whole thing. Especially the derailments. Pay special attention to the hazing every noob gets when posting pictures of Christian Dior ties.

Once this task has been fully completed you will understand the responses you received and, god willing, will not post any pictures of the items mentioned above.

I'm going to re-post this incase it got lost.

AppleMark

AppleMark

Mens? Womens? Fits like a true mens med, buttons from the other side. It also has a waxy build up reminiscent of shell, so possibly horse hide? Debating weather to keep it, because it fit's me well and is really bad ass. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks dudes.

Ez, man, look to me this is a woman's due to the buttons being on the left side. But who cares! If it fits, wear it. This is a bad ass piece! I would keep it because it's so damn unique less you have a similar one laying around. We want fit pics!

Found these PRL loafers tonight. Anyone have an idea who made them? I looked in the ID thread but couldn't find anything. There's no "made in" marking I can find.
