Right, as I thought. Finding nothing on the Conte Di Como tag, not showing up anywhere. Thanks!

We live in Vancouver's Kitsilano area and hit the two neighbourhood Sally's Ann's a few times a week. There is always Ferragamo - new, mens, womens, vintage. We actually leave behind a lot of the vintage ladies because they are 'too granny' for our market. Sure they would be fine on etsy but it's slow on there.

Vancouver is an untapped market folks! We hardly see any flippers when we are out with our train of carts. I see these tweed's you are posting and we passed on at least a dozen Harris Tweed coats on Saturday. Really nice with no stains or tears. Just too many to choose from and our budget is for name luxury items mostly.

We did pick up a mens Burberrys' Harris Tweed long coat for $12.99 a few days back and a womans long Aquascutum coat after reading some threads. Left two behind because they were trenches. Maybe as we get more confident in what styleforum members are looking for we can work something out.

Ciao for now,

Vlassis

Apologies for not using the Quote option when replying! These comments are in reply to the West Coast member who did renovations during the 50% off Salvation Army thrift weekend in Canada. We complained that there was not a Ferragamo to be found and that was a first.

Wow, crazy find for a thrift - congrats, man!  Maybe you can take the other jeans that are too small and construct a 40s jacket that actually fits you.

lol8[1].gifI just might! Actually just got a PM from a member wanting a pair for his girl. Awww, that's so sweet. These are small enough to fit a thin woman.

I can pretty much get any of the suits for $20.00, the ties would be maybe a buck.

I know a similar saying, too.

Come eat, Dick as in come and eat something, Dick, which is short for Richard.

vs.

Come eat dick as in come and eat a penis. Dick is a slang for penis. Yikes! Don't ever make that mistake! teacha.gif

I think besides the jacket could use a slimming, the length is right on. I prefer my jacket's hemline to end around my hallucis longus of my thumb when in robot stance.

I can fit a 27 in apc with a 34 inseam so maybe these might work for me as well depending on stretch...

Just thrifted the nicest suit i have yet to come across.  Mabro handmade Italy for Lee Newman with Surgeon Cuffs.  Don't think it has ever been worn, just a bit too small for me sadly, its a 50R Euro.

And a Vintage really heavy Woolrich Hunting Jacket with game pocket in back, my research seems to put this in the 1940-50's???  It is in really nice condition.
