They are different sizes (9C and 10.5C), so not the same owner. But you're right, it is odd. First time I've ever found any opera pumps, and I find two in one day.

My wife is Brazilian so we always frequent Brazilian restaurants/eat Brazilian style at home. A little closer to home for you is Mount Vernon, NY - tons of Brazilian cuisine.
Lucky you.
Our favorite nanny/sitter was Brazilian. Sweetest girl alive. Sadly, she went back, and now we have no idea what to do when #3 comes in July.
And duly noted re: Mt Vernon.

I should have done that. What a rotten thrifting trip. I think I'll stick to the 'Nati for the foreseeable future.

Org, did that pair of Brooks opera pumps come from Nearly New? I had seen a pair there a month or so ago and passed - low on funds.

laugh.gif Kidding, I wish. Right now in freezing NY.

Had a great haul today, following up last weeks great haul. I promise Ill get pics soon. A little busy around here.

1. Your haunted stories, I believe them all. Nat, yours is the creepiest. Barrels too. When I first started flipping thrifts, I had terrible nightmares of dead people getting pissed I was selling their clothes. No ghosts, but recurring dreams. Sold my soul to the devil for high bids on no reserve auctions and they havent come back since. Whew!

2. The Brazilian everything cheese bread is the fucking bomb. Thanks for all your suggestions. Wes, youre right - I guess I associate some great foods with places I go. Maybe I need more vacations. Never thought of that.

Cesar, the place in Miami is in the Sanctuary hotel, the restauarant there. I forgot the name.

Did a terrible thing today. Found a really nice Holland & Sherry tie...beautiful light blue, totally perfect. I never gets bags from thrift stores due to the whole ice caps melting thing..well, dropped it in a giant puddle in the parking lot. I'm a murderer and I feel like it.

Anyone need any summer stuff?

Yup those are the two colorways the Bean Norwegian sweater comes in. The navy/white is more common and the more iconic of the two.

Stayed outta your territory! smile.gif I checked out Columbus today. Not trying that again.

Side note, any Columbus Ohio members - if you're interested in a dozen Holland & Sherry shirts, and a couple of Astor & Black (sorry, I didn't note the sizes) PM me. Took notes on the few things I passed on while visiting your fair city.

Brought these for $1 at the local Salvation Army. TLC and a press later I have brought them back to life.

Anybody know how old these may be, judging by the label?

Hey, Org. I had this suit before selling it recently once I replaced it with a slightly better fitting J Press. I loved it. Did fine on the sale side too.

Is there an acceptableed definition of deadstock? Presumably most of the things we find are deadstock -- that is, no longer for sale until we sell it. Is it the NWT aspect that makes it deadstock as opposed to just something we found and are now selling?

Edit. sorry, minor grammatical brainfart.
