finally someone finds some 11.5D. PM Sent
At the risk of turning this into ARTforum, I saw this. It looked legit, it was framed well (at one point before the framed started getting nicked up), and it was only $15. Anyone know anything about how to authenticate this? I'll probably take it to somebody tomorrow.

And these sweet Aldens, which are way too big for me:

I'm a big U2 fan (mostly the 80's stuff though). I never bought Pop because it sucked. The song Unforgettable Fire is still one of my all-time favorite songs.

Klobber..the second Springsteen song yon mentioned is called "The River".

And yes Pop sucked, but If God Will Send His Angels and Miami weren't that bad.

Stopped buying their albums with -- what was it -- Pop? The one with Numb on it? I remember being at a party and listening to that album and a girl saying, God damn, I am on ECSTACY and this new U2 album STILL SUCKS!.

I saw them on the Joshua Tree & Zoo TV tours, and in 2001 on whatever tour that was. They were great all three times. The one that killed me was I missed out on tickets in HS for the Unforgettable Fire tour.

Also saw Springsteen in HS on the Born in the USA tour, and have seen REM on multiple occasions.

Animals is fine. Some nice jams and good Gilmore stuff. Most people dismiss/dislike Final Cut. I can see why, but I stand by it; there's some decent music in there, if you can get through all the Waters selfi-indulgence and uber-political-inside-Cricket.
I'll be the first to admit my tastes are. On the same playlist mix, I have Dead Can Dance, Miles Davis, Goldfrapp, Shiny Toy Guns, Greenday, Lady Gaga, Floyd, The Doors, Moana and the Moa Hunters, Ashley MacIsaac, Robert Miles, Oakenfold, Robert Bennett, Peter Gabriel, "A Fifth of Bethoven" and yes, pre-Achtung U2 (among others, equally as eclectic). So you tell me why I can't tolerate the Boss, much of the Stones, nearly all of the Beatles' solo/post breakup stuff, or most rap that isn't House of Pain or Cyprus Hill.
Like I said, bring your hate. I can handle it.

The Final Cut was better than the Wall, I stand by it as well on this front. Like you, I may be "One of the Few" that like this LP somewhat

Dead can Dance = I remember them. Very good band, somewhat folky, with hints of goth and classical thrown in. Right band I got in case I confused them with someone else?

I would not worry about your taste in music - I have really weird tastes - my current playlists include:

Devil Doll (weird experimental band from Slovakia / Italy), Burzum, My Dying Bride, Anathema, Opeth, Fields of the Nephilim, Darkwood, Death in June, Sol Invictus, Fawn, Rammstein, Nightwish, Arcana. Fields of the Nephilim are probably my all time favorite band at the moment.

Of the more normal spectrum of music, apart from Pink Floyd (and early 1970's melancholy stuff like David Bowie, Nick Drake, and Leonard Cohen), I am a big fan of late 70's / early 80's punk, and heavy metal bands like Slayer, Sodom, Bathory, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Merciful Fate, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth just to name a few.

Oh yeah, also the early 1990's bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Screaming Trees - I was a teenager during the grunge period so listened to this stuff for at least a few years. I still go for a trip down nostalgia lane and play these in my car.

I have no genre preference, I just dont like POP music or RAP music as a general rule (only RAP bands I did like were Onyx and of course Cypress Hill. Dr Dre was also OK).

I constantly leave Tom James (thrift in Springfield, MA their home base) am I making a mistake? If I can get a suit for ~$10, worth flipping?

How much did you pay for them?? Thrift prices you did fine.. Put them on ebay and let them sit. This suit took me maybe 6 months to sell....http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=130635717948

Yes, maybe! They have a few different lines (quality) Holland and Sherry sell well $100+, just look at compleated ebay listings. http://www.ebay.com/csc/Suits-/3001...=1&_fln=1&_sc=1&_sop=16&_trksid=p3286.c0.m283Royal Classic also is on the higher end. The crap stuff wont sell, but the good stuff will.

If you come across any size 36S please pick up and get at me!!!

Exactly... Their 80's stuff when I was in HS was great, some of the best albums of all time. Then they went insane. I really thought the "new" Bono look was a character he was playing that he was going to jump out of and tell everyone he was joking... I'm still waiting.

Ooh, me too! Only I've got sales tax in NY, so that wipes it out.
