Really good point though.

We did pretty well, except for gun stuff, keeping political arguments off the thread through the election season. Those pictures were out of line, here. Save them for your Facebook. And I am a bleeding heart liberal who throws down on FB with the best of them, getting routinely unfriended by conservatives and wearing it as a badge of honor. This isn't a political soap box whether I agree with you or not.

This particular thread side alley makes me pine for toscano to drop more of his weak sauce on the thread.

I got my old-skool Nettleton's from eBay today. I was worried they were a mismatch, having read horror stories here and elsewhere on SF and having noticed the wording/logos were different in the shoes AFTER I paid for them (dumb ass move on my part, yeah I know). The left says Nettleton ALGONQUIN and the right, Nettleton Traditionals.

I think I made it, unscathed. You guys see anything that says "mismatch?" The #s are exactly the same printed inside the shoes, too...

please reconcile the above statement with:
a) the pictures that Horses_Ass posted above, and
b) the existence of the internet, fka arpanet

I don’t know how I missed this gem....I saw it in Mainy's quote and felt compelled to respond even though I said I was done with the conversation. You are not merely exchanging goods for capital on eBay. You are letting a free and open market dictate the amount of capital you will receive for said goods. If you were merely exchanging capital for goods, you would have a fixed price. That said, I really couldn’t give less of a shit about what you're selling or your personal business, I was merely citing it as a good example of hypocrisy. Also, it’s worth mentioning that calling someone with a different view than you a "sociopath" and a "knuckle dragger" does not further your cause or stance. But, since we're apparently going there, stop breathing through your mouth and living up to your user name for just a moment and realize that I’m not blindly advocating for anything. Free markets certainly have their flaws, just as a planned economy has theirs.

Now im actually done biggrin.gif

Open it up... Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I now officially have two!!! (Click to show)

Thanks buddy! At 4" it will be tough to maneuver, but this is clearly more wearable than the crazy other Dolphins tie I previously thrifted purely on principle.

Did you notice the back of the tie?

That is THE most Eff Fucking You shirt I've ever witnessed. It is disgustingly beautiful, especially when paired with a phenomenal beard such as yours, Wes.

this guy needs a shirt like that!

i normally don't find a lot of the robert graham shirts you guys post to be all that objectionable (aside from the weird inscriptions). my favorite brand of work shirts are faconnable and etro, neither of which are known for their subtlety in color/pattern.

but DAMN THAT IS ONE UGLY SHIRT.

I think that's how you should sell it on ebay. nod[1].gif

Really though, that is insane. It reminds me of these short sleeve shirts that have flames and dragons on them that you see people wear.

Also, it doesn't help that Wes has a look on his face that says "I love you, and that's why I have to kill you."
