I bought some NWT raw denim "Slim's Resin" 31 waist West Is Dead jeans from buffalo exchange, but want to get rid of them because I found some 30s at another store. They were $35.50 and have a total length of about 42.5". And inseam of about 32.5". They are not selvedge.

So, unfortunately, my own thrifting was looking a lot like this lately...

Or — even worse — this... (because "Lanvyn" is at least good for a three second grin)...

  but    ffffuuuu.gif

But then I came across this shirt in an awesome fabric that fit me! smile.gif

and then these sweet handmade Antica Cuoieria shoes in my size...

Happy with the shirt and shoes! Maybe I'll muster up the courage to finally upload a fit pic. peepwall[1].gif

Had to pass on some sick Donegal Tweed and Harris tweed sportcoats, both had small moth holes.  Did pick up a PRL by Corneliani navy blazer size 42R.

It happened a second time! I just checked the pockets in the Patagonia shorts I thrifted this morning. There was a $1 bill in there. I guess they only cost me $1.50. nest.gif

Lolz. Same coat poasted here and returned by yours truly.  Please please please tell me you didn't find the Barbour/all those shirts in the same place? I know the Prada's are from there, looks like they cleaned up nicely!

Little miss LNWOT decided to end things before they began, tis the season it appears.

NO POLISH. NO COLOR. BRUSH. THEN KEEP BRUSHING.
Carry on.

Did you ask at the checkout? Some of my stores split up pairs and hold one behind the counter to deter theft.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong (because I'm neck deep in this stuff at nearly every store) but this is not the outerwear you're looking for. Mackintosh. Barbour. Many more names if you're talking camp gear. But none of them is London Fog.

Laid up with the stomach flu this weekend. Your enterprise has made me jealous. I think I shall have to play catchup this week....

Hope the interview went well.  I love telling my wife how much my outfit would have cost had it been new.  "All of this including the watch cost me $25 when it was over $2500 new..."  Is that a role reversal or what?  Thank you, Thrifty Gent!

I talked to three different employees; and searched the entire salesfloor. I'm wondering if someone else had the other one in their cart the whole time... I was in the store for over 1.5 hours. Oh well, maybe next time!

On a side note... I found a Sir Pendleton shirt in an XL tonight. Anyone interested before I throw it up on the Bay? It's blackwatch tartan...
