vintage RCA Victor Victrola with the innards gone. Don't know what I am going to do with it, but for $50, I couldn't go wrong.

Beautiful cabinet.  Sure you can do something cool with it.  I recently ended up in Camden, NJ where the RCA Victor plant was that made these (and old folks like Perry Como recorded music).  Basically, I do NOT recommend thrifting there.. Actually, I do NOT recommend getting out of your car there unless you have a private security detail...  :)

+1 on how wicked that is. My size, but I'd rather see you make a killing off it on the 'bay.

That mystery brown jacket is pretty damn nice too. Were the sleeves a half inch longer I'd be all over it.

Any LA guys bump into the same guy twice in the past two days at different shops and have discussions about ties? If so, that was me.

And remember- He's watching:

That sounds like one of the good PRL shirts in terms of make. Check if it is made in Italy.

I do snag PRL shirts if I like them. I picked up a Red black plaid flannel the other day, made in China, but awesome looking.

PRL with MOP buttons is usually the "script" or "cursive" PRL which is def a better mad shirt. Reinforced gussets, etc. If you keep an eye on ebay you can pick them up on the cheap as most people dont know the difference. Much much nicer shirt then reg PRL

+1 Better chance of getting mugged than finding a hidden gem there.

I hit one store last night and came up dry except for...

Ugg gloves. The leather is soft like butter, cashmere lining and shearling cuffs.

I saw some neat vintage pieces and I wanted to save them all, even those not in my size. But I wasn't convinced I could find them a good home. Sometimes I feel like the woman in this video (except for me it's vintage clothing, not cats):

The suit itself was actually pretty nice. On par or nicer then Z- Zegna, fully canvassed, etc.  It is actually a top top top of the line Jos A Bank suit called "Signature Platinum" and was only sold in their top retail store for something like $1800+.

Real.  I'm wearing the exact same pair right now.  I got the hem narrowed as bootcut is for plebes.

Overall, small thrift stores rule, the big ones suck.
