It is not terribly smart to use your full name on a public forum, but all the same, a data thief would probably think your name Ian Erickson would be an alias anyhow. It has a nice ring to it and it is not an embarrassing name like Gaylord Van Dickwad.

Went to a local consignment shop, found a bunch of nice stuff but only 2 items in my size. 1. Black watch SC made in 1965 by a HK tailor. 2. WESC selvedge jeans. The SC fit me like a glove but found a couple of pulls...ffffuuuu.gif. Passed on the selvedge cuz it looks really cheaply made. They had all the Pendleton shirts and shacket this town has to offer. Drove 20 miles to the nearest Nordstrom The Rack to check out what they have. Along the way, I stopped at a GW. Passed on a Vestimenta 2 piece suit, a BB camel jacket, and a 2 piece, uhhh...Forgot the name but the address was 14 Savile Row. Anyhow, I think I'm getting better not coping everything remotely resembles quality...All I had to show for is this shirt...Available for cost +shipping.

Anyone wants a proxy on a Acne shirt for cost +shipping?

Anyhow, went to the Rack and found a bunch of stuff. Almost coped on a APC shirt. Found 2 pairs of Naked n Famous selvedge jeans including a pair of glowing in dark greys. Never knew they carry NnF. Did cop on a pair of APC petite standard, size 31 for $50. Not bad.

What size were the glow in the dark jeans and the Acne shirt? Might be down for a proxy.

The Acne was M and the NnF jeans were...Uhhh, I think 30 and a pair in 35...The NnF were like $50 a pair...But don't remember. I can call them and ask them.

If that acne shirt was the 'Limit' t-shirt you could probably flip it for a good profit. Those are $75 new.

Their quality has diminished a bit over the years.  The pair of Max Cash jeans I have from 2005 use far heftier stitching and denim than another pair of Acne jeans I picked up maybe a year ago.

Help ID, please. (Wes? Mainy?)

New Goodwill opened next town over (glad I missed the CEO at the grand opening...what would I say? "How long's it gonna be before the prices go up to ridiculous prices depending on brand?").

Brought home a couple Zegna ties, a super soft 1991 Bobby Jones wool SC in purple plaid over forest green (looks really cool). Also found these pebble grains with maybe the fattest soles I own. "Comfort Arch" and "Hand Lasted" in gothic letters is all I got. Tried to give the faint numbers in pics, we'll see how they look on screen.

Who made them? You guys recognize the tells?

Thanks!

UPDATE
Oooohhhh....my Google-fu was stronger than I thought. They're Crown Windsor by Bostonian. Next question, WTF are those? Some AAAC dude called them "as good as contemporary Aldens" but does that pass your smell test?

Also, shell or not? Usually it's obvious to me but because of the grain I am 50-50 as to yes or no. Wes? Mainy?

Wow! That's terrific news, Eazy! Congrats!

In other news, after many years of hiatus, I'm receiving my undergraduate diploma next month! I celebrated by buying myself a pair of APC petit standard! Yay for skinny selvedge jeans!
