LOL @ Vader!!!

No thrifting yesterday, but i stopped at nordstrom rack last night and picked up a couple tame thomas pink shirts for 29.97 a peice, a couple silk pocket squares for 7.97 ea and a david donahue super soft silk tie for 14 bucks. Happened to meander into the gap next door and picked up a pair of selvedge slim straight jeans which were 40% off so i paid like 45 bucks for them. The marshall had a bunch of VV ties on dale for 7-12 dollars, but i didnt buy any.

On another note. Thrift fit pic. I was feeling a little British with this one. Full, FU glen plaid flannel suit by Aquascutum, that I recieved in a good faith trade from Grendal, that he has since been compensated for. cheers.gif This is another one that sat in my closet for a good 7-8 months before I finally had it tailored. Trousers were taken in, the sleeves were lengthened and a hole in the lining was repaired.
Bowler hat by Lock and Co. from thriftydood.
BB slim fit OCBD. I cant believe I don't have a light blue spread collar shirt yet. If anybody comes across a nice one in 15.5 x 33, get at me.
60's Scottish cashmere sweater by Alexander's.
E. Marinella tie, thrifted.
Unknown English bench-made cap-toes. Thrifted.

Edit: sweater sleeves appear too long to go with this suit, oh well. biggrin.gif

Just to follow up on this real quick. I went to my local Nordstrom Rack, and they were flush with Canali, Zegna, Talbott 7-fold ties, Rag and Bone, Falconnable etc. We don't get a lot of this type of stuff here and one of the girls said it's all of the stuff the main stores couldn't sell at clearance so they shipped it all to the Rack stores. You all might want to have a peek at your local Racks in case this happened across the board.

Not a thrift find, but I ordered the Pendleton I've been after from Ebay. It was about five bucks more than I wanted to spend, but I wasn't going to let a mint board shirt in the Beach Boys plaid get away this time. It's really recent too, which isn't quite as nice since they aren't made in America anymore.

Saw this at a Marshalls last night and thought to myself "I know of several people who would probably rock the shit out of this thing...'

Sorry for the blur- Red cord PRL jacket with tons o' details and a better button stance than shown. They also wanted like $199 for itffffuuuu.gif.  This store had so many sick PRL jackets, all at still too expensive prices, but still, I was drooling. They also had one of those made in Italy loose weave silk ties with no branding that someone found a few of a while back. It was an odd blue so I passed.

Have had these two sitting around for a while and never got around to posting. There was a third, which I left in store, that was beat up. All three were nearly identical.

Double the pleasure: Double the fun. (Click to show)

These buttons were used throughout... Anyone know an LSW? Or LWS for that matter haha.

Picky picky. White balance killed the navy-ness.

Pockets lined with the same lining as the jacket (each jacket had a different color dot on blue)

Belt across the vent for your pleasure.

p2p- 23.5

length- 33.5

sleeve- 25.5

shoulders 21- 21.5

Other jacket's variances

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Orange spots, all in one tag, no belt

Made six months later

Wish dem buttons were gold.
