^^ Yeah, must be. Still a cool jacket. I'd be on it if I had some monies! Oh well......

Went to pick up a few shirts from the cleaners and decided to sing into the local thrift. Didn't come out empty handed. Superga x Isaia canvas sneakers. Euro 44. Claimed

If only those were a size smaller...
Nonetheless- one of the more interesting sneaker collaborations I've ever seen.

Doesn't look like any Samuelsohn tag I've ever seen. But maybe someone else has better news?

Lanvin shirt, made in Switzerland - yay or nay? Is only the Italian stuff quality?

I saw a woman trying on pants outside the dressing room today. Had several pair just lined up on the floor.

Then I found a pair of Loro Piana shoes, first time seeing that. Interesting stuff.

Zegna and Bruli are the only big makers I know that make stuff in Switzerland. Maybe made by one of them? Quality there?

I hope you grabbed the Loro Piana shoes, those definitely sound interesting.

I have seen a number of Hugo Boss and HB/Baldessarini shirts made in Switzerland. Quality isn't bad.

Well I've been really busy, spent most of the weekend putting up over 150 auctions.  I had the flu earlier in the month and fell way behind in my listings.  From now on i vow to stay on top of this better.   I've been on a bit of a roll with Aldens, went a long time and never found any and then the last 2 weeks i've gotten 6 pairs!!

The pair today is a Size 6 though model 660 Black Moc Tassel Loafer.

I also picked up this Superdry Down jacket really cheap, but it appears these are faked a lot, does this look genuine?

Please tell me you grabbed the Lanvin. If the label was dark blue lettering and black, you may have done fucked up.

Are you in NJ? I have passed a very similar Chipp Flag tie a few times now. If not this one and someone wants one, I can grab it. I assume they make ties with all different flags?

Many Zegna shirts and Tom Ford's have been made in Switzerland. Worse than made in Italy? I do not think so. Other than a few high end brands like Kiton / Attolini / Rubinacci / Borrelli / Truzzi I would consider higher than Zegna / Tom Ford in an aesthetic way in regards to dress shirts. Even the Rubinacci shirts I picked up a while ago were at best "so so".

I do not go by "made in where" anymore, that Rag n Bone shirt I found was made in China and there is more careful detailing there than I have seen on any Loro Piana shirt. I have a few Loro Piana shirts and while nice fabric and buttons, they are made in a very slipshod way in my opinion (one bengal stripe shirt I have I bought at an actual Loro Piana store for like 200bucks and the way they matched the stripes to the shoulders was pathetic - mismatches etc - it felt like it was knocked off quickly and cheaply and then sold at a premium. Only the fabric and buttons saved it from being a disaster).

Cop! A few of my Zegnas are made in Switzerland. They are nice stuff IMO. I mean, nothing Kiton/Isaia/Neapolitan grade. I've seen Gucci and TF that are made in Switzerland as well. That's actually expected since Zegna make for both brands.

Pics for it didn't happen...shog[1].gif

What?! We demand pics!
