I found a nice flannel shirt (that fits me perfectly) this morning at GW. It seems well constructed, but I can't seem to find any direct information about the brand...

I found this:

Aigle Clothing began in France in 1853 and with the knowledge they have behind them, you know when purchasing Aigle Country Clothing that you are buying quality products with Aigle’s 150 years of experience producing practical, outdoor clothing.

Aigle Clothing is renowned for manufacturing contemporary essential products for both Women and Men. The Aigle Clothing range focuses on innovative design, quality materials and environmentally-friendly production techniques. Aigle continues to develop clothing and footwear that is durable, functional, fashionable, practical and comfortable.

Here's a pretty good list of their offerings:

This was cool as well from Wikipedia:
Quote:
Aigle is a French footwear and textile company founded in 1853[1] as the Compagnie du Caoutchouc Souple (Flexible Rubber Company) in Montargis (France) by the American businessman Hiram Hutchinson.
Hutchison had obtained a license in 1850 for fellow-American Charles Goodyear's patented vulcanization process. He emigrated to France where he applied the new process to the production of Wellington boots and then raincoats. In the 20th century the company expanded into the production of accessories for the motor industry and, from the 1950s, sports shoes.

In 1967 the company, by now named Aigle, moved manufacturing to Ingrandes, near Châtellerault, on a 30 hectare site where around 10,000 pairs of shoes are produced annually.
Beginning in 2000 the company expanded into Japan and the United States. In 2006 there were 131 stores worldwide, of which 61 were in France, 14 elsewhere in Europe, and 56 in Asia. Gross sales for the 2005 fiscal year were around 120 million euros.[2]
In 2005 majority ownership of the company was purchased by Swiss group Maus Frères.

The 15th of November 2008 saw the Inauguration of the first Aigle store in North America. Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia the shop features about 80% of the textile and footwear line of the brand, as well as 100% of the brand’s famous foul weather protective sailing gear and boots. Fore more details please visit the website : aigle.ca A new shop will open near the end of August 2010 in Montreal, Quebec.

Aigle is a French brand of mostly country clothing that is exceptional. They are best known in European shooting circles for their calfskin lined wellingtons as pictured below. I can attest to the quality and comfort!!!

Kevin Spacey did an interview about them releasing it all at once so viewers could watch at their own pace, when they want to watch it. Brilliant if you ask me.

Im a big Kevin Spacey fan so im excited!

A couple pick ups today

Avignon tailored cotton sweat/jogging pants. No info about the company other than it is Italian. Great construction and unique details. Completely different beast than my draw string Nike sweats...

Button closure and zip fly set up is similar to incotex (bottom)

Incotex chinolino

Corneliani 3/2 blazer

What do you call this fabric pattern? It's not exactly birdseye...or is it?

Lacoste trio (polo, ls button down, khaki cords)

And because the football season came to a crashing end yesterday, time to look forward to spring training.
Late 80s Fred mcgriff Toronto blue jays jersey

Would have preferred Roberto Alomar or Kelly Gruber but this will do until I stumble upon one of those.

....I didn't recognize half of eddie's brands, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that was probably a really good haul.

Just a guess.

Holy smokes. What kind of discount are we talking on these? I've got to imagine they were still pretty expensive (though well below retail).

Popped my Kiton cherry! However, I liken this to getting walked in on midway through...I couldn't leave it though...also, there is acrylic involved.

Also my first A.P.C. in the wild...sweet jacket that fits me!

Also, I feel like some of you guys have mentioned liking Rooster knits, so I picked this up...navy blue, squared off bottom, wool with herringbone pattern, available
