That is a ridiculous first post! Cucinelli, brioni, barbera, belvest and borelli, that is the starting line up of the all star team.

Checking in. I'm alive. House intact. Leak fixed. No charge.

I was out Saturday and spotted 2 Proper Cloth MTM shirts at Goodwill. Too bad they were labled as medium..Most likely a 15 or 15.5 neck. Since I wear a 16.5 to 16.75 they were most likely to small

I did see a christian dior sportcoat, but it was way too big.. Maybe better luck next time.

Good to hear. Did you give them a handful of tweed on the way out the door?

Haha, I legitimately laughed out loud when I read that.

Is anyone familiar with the brand Aigle?

I found a nice flannel shirt (that fits me perfectly) this morning at GW. It seems well constructed, but I can't seem to find any direct information about the brand...

Re: Aigle. I'm not familiar with it, but recall the old saying:

If it looks like a duck (i.e. it fits),
swims like a duck (i.e. it's well made),
and quacks like a duck (i.e. you like it),
then it probably is a duck (i.e. you should pick it up).

Oh, I did. I just want to know where it came from. Someone clearly donated a few of their flannel shirts (one was a wool blend from Barbour which had moth holes -I sure wish that one could've been a keeper!), and all seemed decent, this one just fit best. I'm certainly getting pickier these days. Thanks everyone!!

Aigle is sold at Dillard's. Most of what I've seen looks decent. I also think there was a pro golfer wearing it.

Anyone heard of "Avignon" Made in Italy clothing?

I was looking through the dress pants and came across a pair of Avignon tailored sweat pants! They are pretty insane. 3 button waist closure with a zip fly exactly like Incotex pants (I found a pair of incotex 2 seconds prior and compared them side by side), 2 front pockets with a smaller third coin pocket and 2 rear patch pockets. I believe they are the "runner" model from 2009-10. I googled the company (Avignon clothing) and found nothing. There is a website that links to an email address but literally no information or anything. All tags are in Italian.

I'll post pics later.

Lol. No but we tied some tweed around the leaky fixture to stop the leak.

Me too. It has been a long effed up day. I surely needed that laugh.

I picture your house with closets and chests full of tweed jackets, sort of spilling out of everywhere. Sounds like you had a hectic day, hopefully the week gets better!

I read that and had two thoughts:

1) Why is he being so specific about the number? Why not just say "around" 40?

2) Does any brag worthy brand even make shorts?

Then I realized my mistake.
