Been slow the past couple of days.. just two shirts worth snagging:

Super soft Paul Stuart in my size and favorite color, and an Etro that turns out to be a bit too small (available - labelled 40).

ebay brag, hopefully the first of many coming up...

that is like proxy prices but I don't even owe anyone a favor afterwords...

only problem is that I just bought a cord blazer but prl jackets seem to fit me better than anything else... if it doesn't work out I will pass it off to a forum member

This confuses me. I've heard that Dunhill Tailors (NY) and Dunhill (Alfred Dunhill) aren't affiliated in any way, but I am pretty sure this is a Dunhill Tailors piece. Why would the use the Dunhill (Alfred) font/logo? puzzled.gif

They are definitely unrelated. My guess is Dunhill Tailors above is a dunhill mtm or bespoke line.

If this is correct, Alfred Dunhill bought Dunhill Tailors in the mid 80s.

Fully canvassed, single vent, surgeons cuffs! Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

That thing looks freaking awesome. If I didn't have, like, 3 just like it, I'd be all over that. Aw, who am I kidding: PM on its way.

After a little research I think its just the fabric maker.
True, historically Crombie is a fabric maker. But they have had an actual garment line in recent years. I don't know for sure or by whom, but I think it's produced under license.

I found some decent stuff just before I left for my business trip. I will add them to the other stuff I haven't had time to brag about, but I will note that this haul includes a pair of NWT Brunello Cucinelli beige moleskin trousers (denim-style) at TJX. Large size, I think -- US 46. Available at proxy, but be warned, that's over a benjy with shipping. Get at me before I throw them on the Bay and/or return them (28 days and counting).
(Oh, the upcoming haul also includes a 100% cashmere Samuelsohn for Paul Stuart houndstooth tweed -- MY SIZE!!)

Heh, unfortunately I didn't get to see that before he took it down (or the mods somehow tracked him all the way to Tumblr). I'm sure it was some amusing douchebaggery he didn't really mean. And he can say what he wants... unless he left a staple Brioni suit as "scraps" at the Lansdowne VV a few months ago, I beat his ass to at least something.

Finally a week behind deadboy but picked up my own Schott perfecto leather jacket in great vintage condition sz40 and fits but definitely not my style

Dude... if that BBGF has arms on the longish side and you don't want to keep it, get at me. I've been doing my part to keep the thrifts clear for ya in the past two weeks by working all my damn 10-11 hour days.

And nice find on the Schott, looks to be the exact model I found. Did you find it north of the city perchance (at the VVV)?

I picked up a pair almost exactly like that a month ago at the Holt Renfrew outlet, so I'm guessing they're pretty recent. Mine had an identical button fly.
