They were all in very good condition, some very much wearable in the condition they were in and some that with a little TLC would have been almost like new! If anyone is looking for anything in particular let me know. Rey had wing tips, cap toes, loafers and driving shoes. Really a remarkable election. Next time I have a chance ill take some more time and really look at sizes and what not.

I would be interested in proxying a pair or three of AE and C&J 10.5D shoes - black captoes/wholecuts, boots, brown wingtips.

I'm going to vote camel.

Dat haul....

I don't know if its just because of the overflow before the holidays, but I haven't found anything even decent for a couple weeks now.

Also I give up at ebay.

Incredible haul!

Also, retconning my haul from yesterday, that BB Makers tie (which I wore to an interview today in fact) was NWT! Discovered it lodged under the blade when I put it on this morning. So my first actual NWT item and it's all mine.

The Beaters on my list (because I not only do the snow-slush thing but I have to have good arch support etc for walking long trade show days sometimes tromping through rain a mile or two from hotel -- which often is deliberate because I like to get extra exercise in, not complaining) are 3pr clearance FLorsheim "2010 imperials" I bought new (outlet, coupon sauce on top) and Topy'd. I also have some rubber soled AEs I thrifted, too.

I save the "good stuff" for better days.

I had exactly this hesitation for a long time, then I found a pair of golashas at the local thrift. For $3, I now have rubber slip-overs that I put over my shoes most days between November and March. I take them off at work. I can put on my suede Peals on a cold, snowy day and be without fear.

Nice hauls, dudes. Esp like those pocket squares, Ray.

On the way this morning to drop off some skates to get sharpened I got in a fender bender with some young men from Israel. How do I know they're from Israel? When we exchanged information he gave me his Israeli drivers license. I hope the insurance (his fault) goes smoothly. After talking to the cops and my insurance people, I needed some thrift therapy.

All from 2 stores. Not available - I need to move inventory because we're saving up for a family trip to NYC in the fall.

Sweaters
Wool shawl collar cardigan. Real leather buttons. Those of you in W. Canada: the CA number comes up for Woodward's.

Aran sweater, Made in Ireland for Hudson's Bay Company

Cashmere Burberrys scarf

HT SC

Vintage linen Banana Republic SC

Staple blue Armani Collezioni suit

Z Zegna calvary twill pants. I hear how this is a lower line but these are a very nice quality, heavy winter pant, lined to the knee.

AE Nashua kiltie loafers. Need some conditioner but should end up nice.

Robes
Viyella wool/cotton shawl collar robe. Perfect for summer.

Versace V2 cotton/silk robe. Plush and heavy.

Sorry to hear about your car, I hope it all works out.

Perhaps more importantly, I hope you got a good edge. I used to sharpen in way back in high-school (for free ice-time) and I am so nit-picky about my edge now. Some of the kids here just throw the skates on the stone and call it a day or burn the S#!* out of my blade.

sorry to clutter up the thread but if anyone wants a couple of staple shirts in 15.5 35 (not super great brands they are like tm lewin and thomas pink type stuff) some with french cuffs some without most spread collar and most blue and also a couple of sportcoats in about a 38/40L hit me up. I will send them to you as in exchange for general goodvibes and promised future hookups

also once finals are over I have a few thrift fits to post with the awesome selvage popover barrel hooked me up with as well as some other cool goodies like the prl sportcoat chino I got from the cap

They're for my youngest. She's 7 and in a learn to skate program at the outdoor rink down the block tonight. (I can post a photo for those of you who've never seen one in real life. Think tennis court with lights but substitute court with hockey rink).

I thrifted her her first pair of figure skates on the weekend. An older guy at at a neighbourhood sports store sharpened them. They feel good, appropriate for a novice skater. He spent about 7 or 8 minutes on them while I waited.
