Woa, how did you confirm it was him?

sleeves are finally long enough although I think I will shorten then by 1/4 of an inch, something is still sort of weird in the chest area I don't know if it is the yoke measurement the arm opening or the pit to pit but something is either too small or too large I should be able to get it right in the next couple shirts it is not that big of a deal

also sorry to everyone who pm'd me about my shirt collection I have made the decision to send my high end shirts (along with the bulk of my nicer inventory) to spoo so spoo expect a few huge flat rate boxes full of isaia, canali, loro piana, lubiam, 7 folds ect. coming your way hopefully you won't have to send anything back this time shog[1].gif

Damn bro, if your collar gets any "spreader", you will be flying off with them!

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I'm pretty sure those buttons are bone and they used to be a feature of better but not best quality dress shirts from Gitman Bros.and those made under private label for Nordstrom, Land's End, and the like.

I would launder and iron that shirt myself, since your average laundry will chip those buttons like you can't believe. Unless of course, you have a drawer full of ones salvaged off worn out shirts.

+1

I've sold him 4-5 shirts in the last 6 months.

I'm not sure if they're hoarding them or buying them for research.

it looks more severe in the picture than irl but I like more spread collars they (in my opinons) seem to draw the eye more horizontally and less to my enormous verticality lol8[1].gif

also if I haven't bragged about this a million times already... my friends family contracting business is building all the gants on the west coast so they know the ceo and have gotten to meet Christopher bastin (I will too hopefully at the sf flagship opening)

Quick consult: My wife dug this poster out, is going to get rid of it as a donation on my next thrift run.

1999 macworld NY, it is a rare poster. Rare doesn't mean valuable, oh do I know that from covering the baseball card world. There's so much short-run and low-run and even 100 year old stuff that nobody wants.

Some jackass has one listed on eBay BIN for $425, ex-apple employee.

Is this for realz, pricewise? Has anyone else sold vintage Apple stuff for any coin?

I have no brags.  Working on an expensive mid-week drunk (Patron).  Pipe that in your smoke and put it, fancy-lads.

I did snag some goods at the Rue-la-la final sale tho.  If someone doesn't buy that leather Kiton jacket, after a few more of these tumbler-fulls, I just might.

Just checking ebay, it's worth $40.

I'd try to sell it before donating.

LA dudes: one of my buddies who lives in NoHo needs a decent white slim fit dress shirt by this Saturday. He's about a 40R so probably a 15.5 x 34 or so.

Hit me up!!!

Moar pics, please?

. Those are quite interesting! They would pass for "Black pants" if one had to meet a dress code, no?

Very nice. Yes, quite. Sublime, even. satisfied.gif

Meanwhile, I finally made a stop at the GW down the street from my home. I'm so tired of looking for shoes and finding nothing that when I found these, my very first, made in the U.S. Florsheim Imperial...
GUNBOATS!
...in amazing shape that I immediately tried them on and wore them around the store for 15 minutes to make sure they felt okay.

I will probably break my a$$ eek.gif in them what with the nails and the v-cleats but I WILL be pairing them with denim.

Speaking of denim, I found a nice pair of Diesel Kratts in my size and after some hesitation (fear of denimhead derision) I went for them. No pic but here's a fair representation of them that I copped elsewhere here on SF, Not so faded, yet, though.

Finally, I left these. Go back? I forget the size.

I am fond of some of the pre-2000 Faconnable coats (not that Nordstrom did bad things with it, but still...).  I'm no expert on them, but have had a number in my collection over time.  I came across a Faconnable label that I was unfamiliar with.

Anyone with a guess as to age?

Thanks!
