Polo PRL Wool Tweed Pants Trousers 36/29 Beige Brown Herringbone Cuff EUC

Whoa.....whoooaaaa. How is it that I couldn't even give away Polo by Corneliani pure silk and silk/wool glen plaid trousers on the bay and these for north of $100? I don't get it... Granted my pictures are awful compared to yours, but still.

Exactly, someone explain PRL and pants to me...I've given up on both, I leave tons of PRL on the shelf because I've had no luck, is there some secret to it?  Certain things I should look for?

Tried to post this from store but did not work. If you are in CT, the store we love to hate has a bunch of 16.5 shirts Finamore, Borrelli, TandA, Pink etc for prices btw 9.99 to 24.99.

Don't ask me. I was completely surprised and ecstatic with the $60 in bids they each had before someone did BIN.

Your looking for 2 things IMO. 1st is made in Italy which is usually Corneliani and sells decent. 2nd is made in USA but gets tricky. Don't expect basic cotton chinos to sell, but wool tweed in a good size will. Am surprised they went for soo much though.

95% of the stuff I see is not made in either and is a total pass unless you want it for yourself.

Some 34 please buy these PRL Corneliani flannels. I own these exact pants and they're my favorite. Fabric is thick and the cut is perfect. There's an extra 10% code floating around online.

2 things: 1) TMI  2) Are these actually thrifted, or discount store (e.g. Marshall's).

Oh, and those Brioni's are all fugly, except for that gunmetal geometric one.

The Brioni's are very ugly, but I never turn down Brioni, they look vintage. They weren't thrifted or from a discounted store. I got them from one of my customers from ebay, so they're on consignment. I've seen other's brag about items they get on consignment, so I figured it was cool. But the stuff I'm putting up tomorrow, that's all at a discount price.

Oh and by the way when I said wife wants love time I meant sitting on the couch to watch the Pats game!

It's certainly BOLD. I like it. Not withstanding what someone may think of the jacket, I think you played it right, with the more neutral colours and the knit tie. You probably wouldn't want to go for 3 patterns with that jacket.

Brioni could brand actual dogshit and people would buy it.

Hello,

Noob here,  Decided to overhaul my wardrobe several months back.  Since limited funds was an issue, I decided to hit thrift stores.  I wish I would have discovered SF before I started buying.  I bought a couple of suits that I realize now are crap (I used to think Hugo Boss was IT) and an even bigger issue - they don't fit right.  I also bought shirts that I haven't worn because they are too baggy.  I thought I could get them altered, but haven't gotten around to it.  Anyway, here are some finds this weekend (I mostly thrift for myself, but I found one item that doesn't fit me but I couldn't leave behind):

Ties: Ferragamo, Ferragamo, Talbott BOC, BB, Talbott, PRL

Wish it was my size - tag says 52  (Navy with pinstripes)

Picked up a couple VV ties and a nice pair of APC denim today. Also found what feels like a quality SC...is this the right Zegna?
