Went back to my new honey hole today.  I visited there for the first time Saturday before last and figured might as well swing by and see if they get new stuff regularly enough to justify 1 or 2 visits per month.  Here's what I came away with today:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Barbour coat:

Another Barbour coat:

PRL Bi-Swing coat:

Another PRL Bi-Swing:

Yet another PRL Bi-Swing (the PRL Bi-Swings will cover my gas money at least):

Faconnable, made in Italy:

Here's the tag - will have to look it up, unless it looks familiar to anyone here:

PRL made in Italy:

Tag on the PRL is identical to the Faconnable insofar as layout etc:

Tommy Bahama new with tags:

Bobby Jones sweater new with tags:

Hawes & Curtis new with tags:

Yet another Barbour:

...the good stuff...:

Peter Millar trying to be a Barbour:

Gant Rugger new with tags:

And one for the ladies - 100% wool coat with genuine fox fur collar.  The tag has been snipped but a RN search says it was made my Forecaster of Boston Inc, and it has the American union label so was made in the USA...

Everything headed to eBay eventually save for 1 or 2 items for myself.

Scandal of the century - all of DM7's finds were just generic pics that he found online.

Holy hell. That must be far outside the perimeter; intown seems to be a bit dry, though I am thrifting a lot less than I used to.

I left as many Barbours as I picked up.  Also left a Paul Stuart lambskin vest and a Paul Stuart leather sport coat - both needed cleaning / conditioning and I try not to buy anything that needs work, any more.

Re: Cantarelli: Thank you thank you thank you!  I hate having to wade thru that "labels" thread and wonder if it's accurate.  I've got a PRL Italy with Corneliani tags thus knew it wasn't them - I appreciate the info.

You sure that Versace is legit?  I'll let others (Spoo) chime in, but I have reservations.  Good haul overall.

Quick scan of today's finds (sick as a dog and need to get to bed before midnight tonight) says we found the year end/holiday fantasticness.

Here's my contribution. (Yes, my pics suck. Too bad.)

You: GMMcL - Why are you wasting our time? Your finds have sucked lately?
Me: I know. I know. Been busy. And in a dry spell. But...
You: But nothing! Our time is precious! Dispense with the banter! Show the goods!
ME: Okey Dokey (Click to show)

You: But WTF is that? Those are just some jackets! We can't even see the labels!
Me: Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw them on the rack. So I turned the labels and saw....
What I saw... (Click to show)

You: C'mon, dude. Not effing cool. That's just the same crappy stuff we all see.
ORLY? That's what I thought until I looked in the pocket (Click to show)

Yes, the right one is a corduroy suit. With real MOP buttons on the trou. And the right one is full canvas -- or at least feels like it. Real horn buttons on both. Built like tanks. Recent-ish. Fit me a-like a glove. (Dude's waist was smaller. Must not have realized the joys of craft beer. No matter; I have a tailor). May make the lighter cord available, though it does have some spots that will need some aggressive treatment.

But she didn't end there.
Foreshadowing revealed (Click to show)

Seems to be dated 1951. Sick, sick, sick. No modern use, but still freaking cool. A few mending spots on the lining, but externally seems fine. Working button cuffs and handwork everywhere. Estimate it at a 40R with some wider shoulders

And finally: I think I recall that these are decent boots? Not a d*ck question; really asking the camping/outdoor/SWD guys. Their construction suggested they're good, as did the "Made in Italy" (not pictured) Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Extremely gentle use, if any. 10D, but fit me perfectly. Available
EDIT: Then again, maaaybe not. http://www.ebay.com/csc/Mens-Shoes-/93427/i.html?_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&_nkw=vasque&_pgn=10&_skc=450&rt=nc

I also found a nice vintage polka dot tie in my college colors (blue and gold, Go Bears!). And yes, Spoo, I will be wearing that.

Oh, and also: I bought 2 pr Pantharellas at a TJX while I was on my business trip. Charcoal knee length. Turn out to be much too long -- like a 12-13. Will proxy. PM to the left.

^^ I am not spoo, but that Versace is real.

Yeah, it's a bit of a drive, but since I work from home a nice cruise every so often won't rack up too many miles on the car.   Though I have found some surprising things at TJX in far-flung places like Cartersville...i.e: I picked up a $755 (yes, seven hundred and fifty-five dollar) Marc Jacobs shirt, new with tags made in Italy, from TJX, for $50.  On the other hand, I have it on eBay with opening bid of $90 and absolutely no one is interested in it.  Figures...
