Had a pretty cold thrifting day today, but saw a good condition Sanyo full length raincoat. Raglan construction, removable lining, 100% cotton outer, appeared very well made.  Was tagged 36R and fit well generally (I wear a 38L usually), but the sleeves were at least 6 inches too short for me.  I have no idea who is that tall but wears a ~20" sleeve length, shoulder to cuff.  Bizarre.

 

At any rate, is Sanyo stuff worth picking up for eBay?  Should I go back for this thing?

Still vaguely fuming about dem Loro Piana coats. Would've loved to have em for myself if they just fit. Badass grey herringbone, black with a quiet purple windowpane... Ah well, directed my dad (bigger than me) there, he may try em out. Also left behind a Lorenzini (2nd time seeing it in a week), collar was mangled beyond belief. Few small buys, all for myself, all unavailable.

Shirt: Vineyard Vines
Ties (L-R): BB Makers, PRL, HSM Gold Trumpeteer, Hildritch & Key


Always wanted to try a VV shirt, and this was (1) in my size, (2) super crispy minty fresh (yet oddly not in the 'boutique' section or otherwise marked up like NWOT quality clothes often are), and (3) good looking. The H&K has one small bit of semi-noticeable damage to the front, but not too bad and couldn't pass it up for 2 bucks.

Most on here won't care, but been a sneakerhead for a long time, and these are more than flippable.

Be careful with Jordan's. I found two pairs last year...I got dinged because the guy who bought them said they were fake.

Yeah no I've been collecting Jordans and sneakers in general for about 8 years so luckily I can tell the difference. 99% of them I see in thrifts are fake.

I had that pair on the right back in the 90's, but they were the space jam edition with the multi colored tongue.

another stop after work gave me the good:



LB 16.5, dunhill wool/cotton, W&G wool/cotton


Incotex for EZ (NA), LB 52 wool/cotton
wool cotton blend kind of day I guess.
