My first post!

New to thrifting and I live in a pretty small town in NW Georgia, so I thought this was a pretty decent first haul.

Trousers:

Polo RL - Black Watch Tartan

Polo RL - Glen Plaid (white and black)

Bravini - Wool/Cashmere blend tan

Shirts:

Charles Tyrwhitt - blue windowpane

Faconnable - pink OCBD (with bird logo?)

Gitman Bros. - white with navy pencil stripe

Brooks Bros. - pale yellow Original Polo shirt

Blazer:

Corbin - navy (not amazing, but solid and canvassed, and I needed one)

What do you guys think?

Your new avatar is throwing me off.

These are on the 89 last, I heard that runs a little snug. How did you size? You're 10.5D right? 9.5F UK?

The Alpharetta run was my lunchtime activity when I worked up there.

You don't happen to be the guy I gave a beat up pair of Gucci shoes two or so months back, do you?

The 89 last is very roomy. I wear a 9.5E or 10D on the Alden Barrie last, 10D on AE 5 last. I got these in 9F and they're roomier than my 10D Barrie lasted boots.

Damn... Why are they scaling up the rise so much on the bigger sizes? The leg openings too, and yet the thighs are still on the low end for me. I'll stick with my RRL.

I think some nice pyjamas are brag worthy!

Needs the treatment but a bit of a big deal because there's probably not a Nieman Marcus for a thousand miles. Plus I found it in one of the most skid row thrifts in town.

Another Secret Santa thrift fit, courtesy of capnwes:
HT SC - SS gift
Wembley wool tie - SS gift
Cufflinks (not shown) - SS gift
CT shirt - purchased retail
Boss pants (baggy because I'm leaning over) - thrifted
AE brown suede Delrays - thrifted
No PS because I was off to a job interview.

Trying to thrift ourselves a 3% interest rate reduction on our mortgage. Now I just need to find $8K in the pocket of a sport coat before closing.
