+1. Killing it.

Definitely painful to be a TML fan and management is absolutely clueless but it's not like I'm going to drop em and hang with Habs fans or anything...

Had tickets to the winter classic this year in Detroit, needless to say i had a few choice words lined up when it was cancelled...

This is the case for most of the thrift stores I'm able to hit without going way out of my way. It's the flip side of LA thrift abundance. It makes it a different game, too - it's not hard to find, for instance, a Brooks suit in good shape for $60. The trick is to find a brand they're not onto or to find the thrifts that haven't caught on.

At the end of the day, though, it's hard to complain. These are charitable organizations and they deserve to make as much for their cause as they reasonably can. Of course, I'm a hobbyist and a half-assed one at that; I'm sure I'd feel different if this were a serious part of my income, and I'm sure flippers have been on balance way better for thrift shops than not.

Jeebus, we're in the best part of the football season and all y'all can talk about is the 4th most popular professional sport (6th if you count college football and basketball). Or did the MLS pass hockey?

Really quick stop today.  Walked through the active wear section to get to the shoes and thought, "Oh look, fake Burberry. Wait a minute..."

If anyone has these initials I found four Ascot Chang French cuff shirts in staple colors in 9/10 condition. Let me know and I can go back for them. About 15.5.

Pair of pebble grain blutchers for Huntsman and Sons. Vibram soles, size 44. Goodyear welt and very good construction, scuffed up toes so I'm going to darken the toe areas with polish and wax.

I used to live up the street from Dave actually, but I was too young to understand how cool that was.  I have an awesome print signed by all three of them that says, "To Nick, 'Puttin' on the foil!' Good Luck!"
