Before the thread blows up....a 'rare' Brioni to compliment my 'rare' Brioni from yesterday. This one is actually growing on me the more I look at the pictures.

WTF is hockey? Wait, that's right, the thing we won last year.

Definitely need to get back in the rolling routine but did a quick 10 minute session with the RR today and it loosened up a few good sized knots...this thing will pay for itself in no time

(^^ Oh wait, just saw the Made in Mexico... was thinking about the old, good stock.)

Haha, I like how in the photo they show this is to be used for IT band release.  Ouch!  Maybe it's because I'm skinny, but those rumbles look a little too big for that.  Then again, I'm also wishing my foam roller were more effective...

I agree that they are solid boots but i guess i'm just not used to their styling yet. They're new but looks like Frye tried to give em an antiqued look by putting on a white waxy coating to the upper. A little buffing and brushing has taken a good amount of it off already. Would have been great if they were the made in USA model but have heard decent things about the made in Mexico version so we'll see.

As for the roller, the knobs are relatively soft and seem to be working. I've been working with a black (firm) foam roller for a while now but never made the jump to PVC, first impression is that the RR is a good intermediate.

Thanks but this is definitely not the norm for the type of goods I see around here. Just getting lucky is all, these are the first items I've picked up at Winners in the past 6 months.

I'm a Canes fan, I can't really talk (though Jordan Staal + Alex Semin means this year could be very fun), but really, the leafs?

People from Toronto often suffer from delusions with respect to hockey. For me all this means is the lockout is no longer a story... boo.

Now then, serious question: Are the glory days of Robert Graham shirts cleaning up on the bay over?

Is there anyway we could get back to talking about the things we find at thrift stores, instead of talking about a sport that no one watches?biggrin.gif

This came across my Instagram feed this morning.  Glad he hasn't read this thread yet and thus doesn't know that this isn't the Dior/YSL/Lanvin he's looking for.

Came across a lovely Oxxford suit and three Zegna shirts (pretty much the first I've found in my limited Pittsburgh thrifting).  Left them because they were too big for me, and I'm not one for flipping.  Still, it gave me hope.

If that Oxxford suit was a 46R, I would certainly be interested in acquiring it.

42R ... completely reasonable size, but I'm a 40.  I tried it on and thought about tailoring but, just a bit too much.

After leaving the store, I thought about getting it to see if anyone here wanted to trade.  But by then it was too late, and I won't make it back there for a few days at least, so it's likely to be gone.

Well, since I wouldn't call what the Leafs do "playing hockey", they're still fair game for conversation.
