dear hordes of people who messaged me about the shirts give me about a week to sort some stuff out I have huge piles of stuff that I need to sort threw and photograph plus my camera is broken

Thanks, hucklecat, that was my first guess, too, but what about that chain inside?  It looks like the hook is to hang decoratively onto maybe a button or button-hole, but the way it's constructed I don't see how it would display well. If that is the case, though, it's probably damn old, since it's been a while since people wore snuff-boxes as sartorial ornamentation.  I don't think it's from the 18th century, however, because the black stuff on the inside is a solid piece of foam (maybe inserted later, anachronistically to keep the chain from scratching the box? No scratch marks visible under the foam, though.  puzzled.gif).  Definitely interesting.  I've become obsessed with figuring out what it is.

Holy christ, Brianpore, that is so magnificent.  Can just imagine that wonderful mohair levity.  I would say to send it my way if it doesn't fit, but that's way out of my price range... Maybe the tux I found that almost worked out was the final straw to push you over the edge?  I'd like to think so, if that beauty is what resulted.

What? Please don't, those are nice!  They're so close to my size; if they would fit better, I'd definitely take them off your hands for you.  No need to trash nice boots in good shape.

(^^ Oh wait, just saw the Made in Mexico... was thinking about the old, good stock.)

Haha, I like how in the photo they show this is to be used for IT band release.  Ouch!  Maybe it's because I'm skinny, but those rumbles look a little too big for that.  Then again, I'm also wishing my foam roller were more effective...

Definitely my most exciting find of the day...Haven't found this anywhere in Canada yet so had to jump on it when I spotted it...the Rumble Roller...it hurts so good

I'd happily take them if they weren't an F width...I have never heard of that before?!?

Edit: F for C&J can sometimes equal a D in normal shoes after a quick google. Is that right?

Edit to edit: I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Yes, UK sizing is smaller than US, about 1/2 size or so if I recall, (so probably @ a 12.5 US), widths are appx. 2 sizes larger, so a UK F = US D.

Edit: Also, C&J's should be quite flippable.....

Yes but get some shoe trees in them along with a healthy coat of conditioner with some good pictures you're $$$, or just send them to me and I'll make sure they flip stirpot.gif

BUT seriously, how do you a) buy them without knowing if they are flippable or b) even know what they are if you dont know they will flip.

I vote we start an "Is it flippable?" thread. It's become tiresome here.

My belief is that anything is flippable as long as you don't spend too much. I am a noob here so I just soak it all in and lurk. People need to do research BEFORE buying and its all a  learning experience.

Make sure to not gravitate towards only the green listings, focus on the red listings too as they tell the full story.

Given the conversation yesterday about "X made for Y" sport coats, I wasn't sure about the shoes. I know that C&J is a good brand, but otherwise am a n00b.

I bought the shoes because I knew I could either sell them or return them for store credit. I do have the EBay app on my phone, but that doesn't always tell the whole story.

Before the thread blows up....a 'rare' Brioni to compliment my 'rare' Brioni from yesterday. This one is actually growing on me the more I look at the pictures.

Again....what would you call this pattern? Right now I have "Dashed Stripe" or would "Salt & Pepper" be better?
