Shoutout to Achilles. It was great seeing you again and had a great time hitting the stores with ya! cheers.gif

Agreed! A great way to spend the afternoon.

Thanks to Nataku and .... (I actually don't know his username, and don't want to use his real name just in case haha) both of you guys were great to learn from!

I steamed the crap out of that Bullock and Jones coat and I am wearing it tonight haha

Also, anyone know anything about who makes Saks cashmere items from England?

Sorry for the crappy pictures, I have terrible lighting in my in laws spare room.

The kilgour french and stanbury charcoal suit is a flannel three piece. I think its a 42 or 44. Not sure if I would ever wear it haha

The saks 5th ave cashmere polo sweater is xxl.

The zegna trofeo fabric suit is custom made for a 46, as is the gray and blue plaid SC. (dual vents, flat front pants for the light gray wool suit)

Allen Edmonds are size 11 and brown, excellent condition.

The Bullock and Jones was mine thanks to Nataku pointing it out, absolutely love the coat, a navy herringbone icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif Might be the only thing I end up keeping, but oh well.

I needed somewhere to put my sword!! (Click to show)

That's not a seam split. As far as I have been able to find in the past on these, it would be for passing a sword through to the scabbard awaiting under the coat.

So, I have a job interview on Tuesday literally across the street from one of my favorite thrift stores... I'm guessing I shouldn't mention that as a major perk of working there?

I appreciate you guys mentioning these sales and "under the radar" ebay items, etc. (Actually, my wallet doesn't appreciate it angry.gif ) This is one of the few threads that i visit regularly here in SF. This is a great thread/community.

Heh, I just wanted y'all to know about it before PTO blew the spot. Don't think any of that stuff was part of the much-publicized 'Winter Sale.'

Since some were on the topic of Pendleton, I was in need of a new robe and grabbed this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170951268699?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I also wanted to say that Kent Brushes had some great deals on double sided brushes. It appears that they're sold out, but I got one along with a shave set. Those are still available:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/gbkent/m.html?item=140901355043&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

In other news, still without internet until next week. It's killing me. I recently moved and have painted, installed light fixtures, repaired walls, etc., and am completely exhausted. I've used my entire 2 week Christmas holiday getting things together, but by the time I go back to work next week it should be mostly finished. On the plus side, we now used a small bedroom for our closet, thus doubling my closet space biggrin.gif

I hit one store and found a herringbone alpaca scarf made for Unicef. Pics to come if anyone's actually interested in such a simple find. satisfied.gif

I picked up this pair of Polo RL trousers made in Italy with back adjuster and buttons for braces on the outside. Also has this embroidery on the front waistband. Any idea if about this line? Never seen this before. 36X30 available

Um, are you not showing the sides because they have the huge polo logo on them?

Probably not for a profit. Monograms pretty much kill their value. And from what I understand wont come out.

Also, custom shirts are pretty hard to sell... you need to be that persons exact size.

The logo is small and the same color as the canvas making it practically invisible.

I have these same trousers except in a brown stripe flannel. Beautiful trousers with lots of great details. Got them for $4.99.
