If the sleeves were an inch longer I'd put up with the loose collar

These are the shirts with PTP 23 1/2,

Yoox has them on sale for $69, (think it's the same type shirt)

I wonder if the tailor got it wrong. There wouldn't be too many people with that name running around Cincinnati getting custom made clothing. The jackets were longer than what I would take, and he's a tall guy. There was also a bunch of Nike shoes and cleats there that were all size 11 / 11.5.

Gajhhhhhh...seeing these posts makes me wonder what people who don't even know to ask are passing.  YIKES.  Can we please assemble a mass text phone tree for brand questions?  Thread regulars only, of course.

Found this cool 90th anniversary W&G jacket, sorta a knockoff barbour, tons of cool details (poachers pocket, detachable collar, a zilllion pockets, wool liner, moleskin lined handwarmer.....)
Fabric is a cotton blend but feels oily.

For the uneducated can you say why this is not the Hermes we are looking for? Mine seems very similar other than the Hermes-Paris on the tag...

Exactly that reason - that label with the text only appears on the heavy silk ties, the woven ones. The whimsical printed twills only bear the horse and carraige logo.

Please post a pic of that plaid Dries SC. And dibs if it's 40-42 and available. That sounds wicked.

+. 1.

I know that "overwhelmed" feeling, but under the weight of half that volume (and quality). If you pull Kiton out of my state when you finally get there, I may just give up forever.

I'm not one to shy away from used shoes generally, but this grosses me out a little.  Is it evident that the previous owner went sock-less in this?  It's a half-size too big for me anyway, but otherwise I'm surprised people go for used "barefoot" shoes that were really used without socks.  That first line of contact rule, but for athletic footwear especially!

+1 I found three recently (never found any before), but it's quite rare to come across a good fake, and usually it's easy to tell them apart.  For the printed ties, first check is label (no Hermes - Paris under horse&carriage), then loop of thread, then twill, then lining, then folds.  Even if everything else is right, the folds are where you can see the quality or not.

Oh, and Spoo, lurker[1].gif

P.S. I found a PRL Made in Italy (Corneliani?) blue+white striped seersucker suit 40R at greater than thrift prices, at $38.  Can proxy, or if you think I should kop it, let me know.

EDIT: Seersucker is a 3-button single-vented, I think
