The SA is attached to the K Mart. The guy was trying to steal jewelry at K Mart. I was unaware that there was jewelry worth stealing at K Mart. Anyway, after being tazed/tazered (?) he attacked the cops with a knife and was shot several times and killed.

Moral of the story:
Don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

Secondly, how can you tell those are K-Jackets?  There isn't a strand of colored buttons attached at the collar and you don't know what the label on the inside says.  Even so, they're a great price for COAT level jackets. 

 

Edit:  Bought the light blue/chambray in a 48.  There's one mark on the back that looks like a small abrasion, but that's the style these K Jackets go for anywho.  Looks like it is in fact a K given that some neighboring sizes in the same color are clearly marked as such.  There are some COAT options up there for the same price.

 

Some, not all of the displaying jackets says "K Jacket" on the collar label. K Jackets fit a bit slimmer than Coat jackets. I, too ordered a size 50 being 5'8" on a good day at 170 lbs. After I ordered, I went back and read it's recommended to up 1 size. Their website sucks! I can't even access my order. I might just try on the jacket to see how it fits. If it's too small, I'll get the size 52, if there are still available.

 

Edit: I used the measurements on this size 40 K Jacket for reference. Although it's a Linen/Cotton blend, whereas the K Jacket I ordered is a Cotton/Poly blend, but I think the measurements are still very similar. I could be wrong though...uhoh.gif

Anyhow, look under "Size Info" for detailed measurements. Also, I stumbled up this K Jacket someone has up for sale. It's a size 40 and the measurements are a bit bigger than the previous one...

He pulled a knife on the cops after he was incapacitated by police tazer? Holy shit! What kind of drugs was he on? PCP?

 

Bring extra guns, pre-loaded and extra ammo to a gun fight! Or better yet, bring a RPG or two to a gun fight! We are not going to start a gun debate again, are we? uhoh.gif

Nice, thanks for this. Just picked up a shetland and a blue OCBD (logoless).

I have two Shaggy Dogs I grabbed for $10 apiece during two consecutive J Press sample sales in the Onward Kashiyama offices in midtown Manhattan a few years back - do they still do those? They used to sell amazing stuff for a song, including the shirt I'm wearing right now and some of my favorite things in general. Anyway, it'll be interesting to compare the J Press and Rugby shetlands.

I was mentioning this the last time I was out with DM7, for all the RL gear I've seen / picked up, the RRL, RLPL, PRL, etc, I've only seen one or two Rugby pieces. Guess there's just less of it floating around.

just the shetlands I talked about and one of their rugbys hopefully all the ugly ass branding will come off with a seam ripper

I have only found prl and rugby in the wild shog[1].gif and I only picked up the rugby because it was in my size and 50% off

The flap pocket works for me but YMMV.

The two Shaggy Dogs had tiny imperfections, which a seamstress fixed for me for a few bucks - most of them were not $10! More like $80, if I remember rightly, which is still a fantastic deal.

Saw this today at Marshall's. It was still $1300 though.


They also had a bunch of Zegna, Canali, Corneliani, and RLBL for somewhat reasonable prices.

I picked up a nice Rugby SC a while back.Didn't fit. Tried to offer it to Mex, GMcl, dbcooper, and others and had no takers. Ended up flipping it for about $75 and the buyer was so happy he asked me to keep him in mind if I came across anything similar (!).
