The real Brioni, from a regular GW,  was pretty shocked when I opened the jacket and saw the Brioni label, going to the bay with this one.

It's for the larger gentleman, EU 60L US 50L, in excellent shape, two button, unvented Navy, pants pleated, cuffed 44 (fully let out) X 30

Also, same GW, first ever seersucker, Brooks Brothers, like new, slim 40R 34x28 (w/5" extra) flat front,

It fits me, but I don't know if I would wear a seersucker. Interest?

I hit Marshall's while I was out and this was on a Made in Italy Rugby RL SC. Gray herringbone I think with very modern styling (thin lapels, high gorge). $150 + tax if anyone wants a proxy.

I almost pulled the trigger on a RLPL shirt there for $100. Also saw Brioni and Zegna shirts there for $129 apiece but the RLPL was nicer IMO.

Caruso.

Wait, wait, muscles = the reigning champ at arm wrestling! biggrin.gif I kid, I kid. I agree. Skills over brawn. I rather kick somebody in the nuts than sit there try to slug it out with him. But muscles do help, just look at all the UFC beef cakes...Hmmmm...The deadliest fighter I've spared with was 6'2", 250lbs. of muscles. Needless to say, he kicked my ass.

Dude, I'm so game! But I think we are already going to LA/San Diego sometimes next month. When were you thinking of going?

Im reasonably open. Would be cool to go on a weekend. I have a Trans Am so taking my car most likely would be too practical, but i have gas $$ smile.gif

Also interested in some bay area thrifting if anyone is inclined.

Been gone a week for Christmas, guys, what'd I miss? I'm actually disappointed you guys managed only 569 posts in a whole week.

I was reluntant to go out the day after Xmas thrifting figuring stores were overshopped but stopped in this one close to me and noticed the lady hanging some ties. I checked them out and noticed these. They were $1.99 so I said what the heck they are new.

Is this what the call scraft print ties?
On my way back home stopped at GW and said let me look at the ties and here these were, also 1.99 and new

Dec must be tie month, heres a few others found this month.

and my most favorite

All these ties are brand new. Also found four or five vintage Hermes, cant wait until next week.http://www.styleforum.net/forums/posts/add/threadId/9006#

^^^ Nice Hermes haul! Yes, those look like scarf ties and should do rather well on Ebay if you decide to sell. The limited edition Talbott 7-Fold should bring about the same and that Bulgari multi-fold looks great, congrats!

Damn!! Nice tie haul. I have a Bulgari 7 fold. Really nice.

I found this today with my little helper. My first Hermes scarf. I hope it's real. Hand rolled and an awesome print.

Thanks, Ken. I passed because they wanted 26 bucks for it. It was genuine leather and interestingly the collar was detachable to transform it into a traditional leather jacket. Even a little research showed little on that line so I am guessing it was not very successful.

No earth shattering finds for me, but I found some stuff that any of you may want for cost and or trade. I hate that feeling of not finding anything amazing so I feel the need to purchase something to make the drive or trip worthwhile.

First, giant shout out to TheBurnOut. Although seldom a poster here, he reached out to me through PM because he happened to thrift in my backyard. He is moving across the country and hooked me up with the list of thrifts he often hit and had luck with. Then, he texted me that he found a BB Fitzgerald SC and Lubiam 1911 navy suit in my size that he offered for trade for a few pairs of Pantherellas. As if the generosity wasn't enough, he handed me a box of shoe trees that he wasn't bringing with him. I am not sure if I am happy that there is one less high-end men's clothes hunter in this area or sad that such a great guy is leaving. Awesome showcasing of how generous everyone on this forum really is.

He also passed off this Woolrich Sweater in XL (available for free + shipping if anyone wants it)

Anyone know who makes Lands End's SC's? I picked this up because it fits well off of the rack and was $2. The wool is extremely soft and the jacket seems quality. The RN number pulled up Lands End so I'm guessing they make their own stuff. I was pleasantly surprised.

Picked this up if  one of you has a serious need, its in pretty good condition. Its a pretty large Wenger rolling case. It apparently used to have a removable tote, but that wasn't there. Available.

Hit up my local Marshalls. They rarely have anything nice, but had this Corneliani 46R Super 150's charcoal pinstripe (unvented, though). This is the only suit I have ever seen there, and it was placed with the sweaters. Random. Available.

Picked this up but am now not sure if it was worth it. I have no idea how to clean suede and this stain is pretty bad. PRL size large.

Had picked up almost the exact same Burberry 6/2 peak lapel blazer before. Older logo but the ebay bidders went nuts on the first one because of the buttons.
