Hey guys, i'm looking to get a Barbour Bedale off ebay and i was wondering about sizing. Does anyone have any experience with the sizing? If so should I size up or down?

Any help would be great, thanks

If it's mainline barbour (not "International" or "ToKiTo") Size down for a slimmer fit. Note however, if you plan on wearing lots of layers (Let's say SC+Sweater+Shirt) underneath I'd say stick with TTS.

Well I mostly wear a 38 and i was looking at a 40 barbour but i guess that would be pretty large on me then. Thanks for the help

This. They were meant to be worn over a SC. The Bedale I found a while back was a size 44 and I (a 50) could just squeeze into it. Not something I could have actually worn comfortably, but I was shocked I could even get it on. Part of the best trade ever for one that does fit me.

My parents purchased me two for xmas, they appear to be great pieces for the price-point. Still not sure where they found them though.

I especially like the Speedmaster; if I ever decide to get a "real watch" that will probably be the one.

I don't know if I should take the bait... but the company is NOMOS and they make a fantastic wristwatch

http://www.nomos-glashuette.com/en/

In other thrift related news, I finally found my first RLPL piece that fits. It's a linen navy pinstripe suit in 42R peak lapel,  almost NWOT all the pockets still sewn shut and buttons in the bag. Here's the kicker... No. F'ing. Pants.

Now In have a gorgeous orphan RLPL summer orphan, I might have to say F internet knowledge and rock it.

As a PSA to all fellow MN thrifters, if you happen to stumble across the pants I will pay good money to reunite the pair!

I frequently see mid to high end orphan pants on Ebay. Small chance they'll match, but I've found PRL pieces of identical fabric so it is a possibility.

Anyone know when Paul Stuart ran this car motif? Found em in the bottom of the men's bargain bin.

Or when PRL ties were $32.50 at retail...
