Does any quality brand actually have machine sewn edges?? When I flip though the womens section for scarfs/pocket squares thats all I look at. When I find a hand rolled one I inspect a little further.

 

You obviously knew enough to take a picture of it so look for hand rolled edges and go from there.

You can also google on how to spot a fake. Two tells are the hand rolling (how it's done and what side it's on) and the how the Hermes name appears.

Some minor adjustments at the tailors and they should be good to go! Thanks again!

While not thrifts I spent some time at our Last Call because NM is leaving us in January and found some good deals. Picked up the below Montedoro chino SC for $90 and a Belvest Linen SC for $150. Sadly they're both summer style jackets but I couldn't resist!

 

After doing some rough fits at home the gorge seems much higher on me than on the model below... will have to see if it works with me

I've never seen the split rail gant line before. Definitely not vintage Gant and definitely not new. Which would land it in the crappy era of Gant. If it's cheap and seems like real leather, I would say pick up. Otherwise, Pass. Pretty cool piece though, would be interested if it were my size.

Been hectic and have a ton of stuff to post up, plus thrifted gifts from family. Had a couple questions about some things, any help would be much appreciated.

 

Tai Pan Row shirt- Are these worth picking up? What is the Hong Kong tailor's reputation for quality? Seems to be a well made shirt.

 

 

 

 

Also two Burberry items I picked up, wasn't positive about authenticity so I figured I'd check here if anybody could tell.
