Feel free to X post some of your amazing vintage finds.....

Awesome thread! I've often thought I could do a great social/cultural history of the last 60 or so years of my city just from the clothes and labels I see in the thrifts.

Few cool things the past week:

Pristine old Zero King top coat. Fits a little big but with the nasty weather couldn't help but wear it today. I was certainly the most baller gent at Target.

400700

First Zegna find that wasn't a shirt or tie. Perfect fit, just have to convince the wife to leave the house with me wearing a greenish/gold jacket.

Trad goodness. Southwick for Cable Car Clothiers. Going into a big box of Thriftmas gifts for my bro.

700

Bottom of a .99 bin of clip-on ties (and half-off day):

Little help needed on this....any value besides as a cashmere dog blanket?

Ok, so whats the deal with Viyella? I've seen a good bit of it, but never kopped because it just never seemed that nice, am I in the wrong here? Also, Hamilton shirts, passed on a number of those as well, they seem nice, but are they worth flipping at all, it didn't seem like it. On a personal thrifting note, I went out today and it was probably the worst day ive had out in a loooong time. Snagged a womans Nicole Miller leather jacket, an Odin for Target shirt for my little brother, and a dope vintage woolrich down jacket (no feathers) with plaid wool lining! I think I finally get the vintage outerwear thing, but its not really my style. Ill post pics soon, but its size L and if anyone thinks this is something they need to own get at me, I paid 10 for it and will pass it along for that, unless NANTAKU wants it, As part of his SFSS addendum.

Is this the Armani I've been etc? 4".

2x BB Makers.

Two I probably should have left - Hill & Archer (the blue paisley) and Robert Talbott (wool pheasant motif with some smudges - look like they'll come out).

I'm growing to like the Talbott sitting here looking at it, actually. This is probably why I have no future as a flipper. I'm getting high on my own supply.
I enjoyed Spoo's homage to the thread. It is the tradition of my people to eat Chinese food, see a movie, and enjoy the empty highways on Christmas day, but I know that when I do I'll be raising a glass to those who make this possible - the filthy rich, the careless, the recently deceased, and their harried caretakers. Thanks, guys!

Yes to the GA. That's legit also the black label, too.

I was in your boat regarding the Viyella. I finally coped on a shirt and realized that was the same one I passed 2 weeks ago. That sucker is super thick!
