I'm glad you all liked the smoking jacket! ruben is the man for giving me the hookup.  I am very flattered; you know you're doing something right when both Spoo and eazye compliment your fit.  revolve.gif

Ray, your haul is of great calibre, to which one bows in respect.  Eazy, your fits are on-point as always, though I do miss the eerily precise gangster stare off to stage right.  Spoo, I love that jingle!  I think it's especially humorous when tripping up trying to align all the syllables to the rhythm.  Too funny.

On to my stuff.....

Unavailable

Bespoke jacket, half-lined and fully canvassed in the front only? Never seen this kind of construction before.
Arms should probably be slimmed, but otherwise a great fit, so keeping.

Found some J.Crew pants for myself also, might have the waist taken in a tad

I went to Marshall's and picked up these wool Pantherella's in dark & medium grey.  Was going to make them available, but now I think I may give them a shot.  Hopefully I don't become addicted, though once I switched to high-end running socks I couldn't go back.

While at Marshall's I found an amazing black fitted parka from RLBL, fit me better than anything I've ever tried on, ever.  Too bad it was still $$$$

Available (at cost+shipping, o'course)

Anybody know Korean? I should ask my post-doc, but I feel a little silly -- I can imagine the look in his face...

The fabric actually feels kind of soft -- my guess is polyester or some synthetic, but it could also be a silk blend if it's not as terrible as the tag makes me believe.

WTF?? crackup[1].gif

FaceOfBoh, should I put this on that funny tag threat?

Smore good stuff today. I've never seen Corneliani shirts before. I know it's loud, but whatever, it was 99 cents (75 actually, 25% off sale) and worst case I'll just wear it. Also, is this the Eton I want or is there some sub-label? Also the Eton cuffs seem to be both button and French cuff (there's a gap in the middle of the buttons for a cufflink). Is there a name for that?

Shirts (available): Zegna (16/L), Eton (17.5), Corneliani
Shirt deets (Click to show)

Then what I think was the big coup... Pal Zileri, Taglia 56 (EU) (dark brown, red and grey windowpane)
Deets (Click to show)

All available.

Unexpectedly had ten minutes to drop into a favorite spot today and came away with some ties. Everything is available.

2x Zegna. 3 3/4" and 4".

Is this the Armani I've been etc? 4".

2x BB Makers.

Two I probably should have left - Hill & Archer (the blue paisley) and Robert Talbott (wool pheasant motif with some smudges - look like they'll come out).

I'm growing to like the Talbott sitting here looking at it, actually. This is probably why I have no future as a flipper. I'm getting high on my own supply.

I enjoyed Spoo's homage to the thread. It is the tradition of my people to eat Chinese food, see a movie, and enjoy the empty highways on Christmas day, but I know that when I do I'll be raising a glass to those who make this possible - the filthy rich, the careless, the recently deceased, and their harried caretakers. Thanks, guys!
