I started out thrifting and flipping only shoes, as it was a lot easier to identify brands and condition than determining if a suit is worthwhile. Not checking shoes sounds crazy to me.

Hey dudes, been super busy at work this past week (stupid holidays) so I haven't had time to post, but today is the start of my Christmas vacation so here we go. First up, a couple fit pics,
Gerry down puffer from last week
PRL cashmere sweater
Dockers D1 slim fits
and LookinGR8 gave me inspiration to bust out the Nettleton crocs.

With my early Thriftmas present from Wes, this thing is the bees tits! Needs to be taken in at the sides but otherwise, fucking perfect!!! Thanks again!

With that shearling coat from last week, Ikea monkey?

Check another one off the list! PRL seersucker in my size with patch pockets and MOP's, vent was still basted shut! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

PRL made in Italy repp and a shetland plaid.

Two bonus ties from Wes, tartan plaid and Scottish wool repp. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Detail of the coat and Nettleton's

PRL American flag sweater, made in Hong Kong biggrin.gif

LL Bean cursive script lamb suede shacket.

Probably not the BR I'm looking for, but a neat nylon trench and it was only $1.50

I don't usually pick up NF stuff unless it's the brown label, but this was only $2 and I figured it will make a good layering piece for when I'm out on the bike. Odd too because the thrifts around here usually jack up the price on anything from NF

BB makers candy stripe made in the USA ocbd, my size

Super old Gant in my size

And of course, not two days after I receive that coat from Wes, I find this beaut. No maker tag except the old union label. This thing is seriously fucking awesome, brown and cream tweed hounds tooth with a bright blue windowpane check, pristine and in my size!!!!! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

And finally, my mom wanted me to pick up a board game for us to play over Christmas, found this vintage Clue with all the pieces still in the original bags. Her parents, my grandparents, had this exact same edition at their house when I was a kid.

If you wear this in public, you're a braver man than I. Or possibly a sadder man.

Boom! This is the third one of these I've found this year, but whereas the others had varying amounts of wear, this one is totally pristine, no really, it looks like it's never even been tried on. I'll be keeping this one. biggrin.gif

Picked up 3 shirts

Ascot Chang - interesting button on the collar.

Canali and Ascot Chang are available. Both are french cuff, extremely good condition. I can get measurements if anyone is interested, other wise they are going back to the store. Looks like the donor had shorter arms as they didn't reach my wrist bone.

In college you can get away with wearing a lot of things.

Basically, Oxyclean dissolved in hot water then soak the item in there for about 24 hours. If stains gone, great! If not, repeat until stains gone.

Is that a lower line when compared to Isaia line?
