Another thrift fit. Off to X-mas lunch with some people I used to work with.
Everything thrifted or SF acquired except for the shirt. It's Zara Man but the nicest ecru I've seen.
Jacket: Franco Ercole in Brooklyn
Tie: no name knit
PS: no name ivory silk
Denim: LVc 501s (from barrelntrigger)
Shoes: Florsheim (from GMMcL)

Huge thanks to Bytor13 for an awesome secret santa gift....3 sweet and seasonally appropriate tartan ties, a PRL tie with sartorial illustrations that is awesome, Barbour cords and an amazing pair of Cuccinelli cords. Fit pic upon return from the in-laws and a trip to the tailor.

Thanks man.

And Wes, the wine was not thrifted. Should be ok. But it does have some Mourvedre, which lends a funkiness that I thought any thrifter would appreciate.
Cheers,
O

Took a picture remembered today was the day we shared our secret santa's but I left my SD card at home and I am going to be out of town for the weekend! (D'oh) So for now you guys will just have to use your imagination, until monday. Nat sent me the best package:
A Navy Herringbone Button Down Collar Shirt from a bespoke shirtmaker I had not heard of.
An awesome RED vintage woolrich CPO
A pair of grey Earnest Sewn Jeans
A Pair of Edwin dark rinse jeans (My favorite!)
A tub of Mowbray's Saddle Soap (already used it on my boots)
And two japaneese magazines: Free and Easy and Men's Off Style Handbook!

Thanks again Nat!

Also: Went to a shop last night, had to come back in the morning because I didn't have any cash on me. Hid the items I was going to buy. Came back this morning and my favorite of them was gone. Looks like I didn't hide them well enough. It was an awesome window pane tweed from the Andover Shop. First SC I've run into from them and was obviously of great quality. Oh well. Did make off with a 60s-70s era BB Corduroy Sack Coat and a Viyella Flannel. Details to follow later!

SOMETHING FOR SANTA (Click to show)

Ironically, Pleiades (The Seven Sisters) has actually always been one of my favorite constellations....no lie on that one.

Nice box. Thackrey makes some crazy but tasty wines. The Pleiades is like a varietal grab bag!

Lol I figured. I assume you've had it. Should I enjoy it soon or rack it for a while?
