Side vented. Looks like they are probably overstock from harristweedscotland.com. If any of you saw that three-part documentary by the BBC on Harris Tweed, this is the company owned by that Haggas guy:
Edit: Looks like they are still selling these for $600 online: http://www.harristweedscotland.com/shop-online/laxdale-harris-tweed-jacket/

Thanks for the heads up! Couldn't believe it when I ran over to the store this morning. I was able to snag the Black and White herringbone. They also had a blue one like the brown tweed in the pictures above at my local Wal-Mart.

There is a reason why I don't go to animal rescue thrift store here in Vancouver.

Picked up a pair of Land's End corduroy pants, NWOT, with comfort fit...I have to say, it feels almost like a pair of lederhosen with its front flap...with elastic bands instead.

Snagged two Robert Talbott 7 folds today:

Also, pretty sure this is the Armai I'm looking for? Womens, cashmere silk blend:

Maybe it's just an east coast thing! The Lee Allison is collectible and anything from that line is going for $85+ online. This is why I love selling online - no matter what you find, there is a market somewhere in the world for it.  That Bachrach tie is already going out for $65! We do Sneak Peaks to our members and allow them to make offers before they hit our stores. Pooling it for a big half price sale shop next week. Many of the items that you guys are looking for are completely foreign here - the trenches and suit jackets - quality not good out here. We do find a lot of great footwear - Cole Haan, Prada, Florsheim, Dack's, and Ferragamo's this way - even have a Size 15 Ferragamo right now! Lots of leather in a rainy climate. Go figure. Anyways, bummed the tie's crashed and burned - next time...there is always a next time!

Best wishes,

V & H

Nice score on the Talbott Seven Folds! That Armani is the good one, though I am not sure of the value since it is a woman's piece.

I wouldn't take those even if they were given to me for free.

As for me, 4 stores and nothing. I did get to stand in line at the post office for over a half an hour. ffffuuuu.gif

Beck scored a really nice Salomon snowboard with the bindings though.

Guess I have nothing to look forward to in Minnesota next week... I'm flying in to Fargo next Thursday and returning on New Years Day from Minneapolis.

Visiting my bro and his in-laws. Should be fun... There may be some thrifting, though I'll be busy with the Vikings-Packers game and a Half Marathon on NYD.

A few ties I have grabbed, not available.

And a quick question, is this the Gant that is actually worth getting?
