Absolutely true. If you see a high end MC branded pair of jeans, run for the hills man. I mean this as well, not being snarky. Very few of these brands make nice looking jeans. Kiton = awful, Borrelli = terrible, Cucinelli = grandad jeans, Zegna = sucks, I could go on and on............. Enjoyed your observation, I can finally get this monkey off my back thinking I was the only one patch[1].gif

Here's my after work haul from Savers (my "happy place" lately, this is the same store I found the SF Giants Aloha Shirt that's raking in the dough on Ebay right now):

Nice Pendleton wool "Board Shirt". My size, immaculate condition. Worn? It certainly doesn't appear so. Super-cheap. Not until I got home did I notice the year on the care label. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

This shirt was made 52 years ago and looks better than the last Pendleton shirt I found that was less than 10 years old!

Brooks Brothers Silk Tie (with Karate Rabbits, WTF?)

That would explain why I can't find them online... shog[1].gif

And I'll just blame the fact that I've been up for almost 20 hours.

It's like this thread is a hive and we're all just worker bees, contributing to it, yanno? I'm voting for Wes to be the Queen.

I'm not sure.

It's kind of hard to say. I wish there was more clear direction on what to do. It's odd since this thread usually has some pretty good advice.

What if whatever's in the box CAUSES the world to end? Maybe it's safest not to open it at least until the 22nd? Cool avatar, BTW!

Perhaps I should jot down to the local big box office supply and pick up a fresh dispenser to reseal that flap?

The original idea was to send them by the 5th of December and open them on the 21st of December. However, most people opened their gifts immediately upon arrival (which was perfectly fine for me!) and so we likely won't have a "group opening." Feel free to open your gift(s) whenever you'd like and post photos for all of us to see! biggrin.gif

For those of you who have NOT received a gift, I've read that a few people have been a bit late in sending them. My own secret santa hasn't received his yet (as far as I know) and will probably PM him soon to let him know that it's somewhere in between Austria and his home. The minimum post count for eligibility was 50, though the vast majority of people that joined in had many more than that. I'm confident that no one will get screwed (intentionally), so hopefully everyone will receive something soon!

Thanks to everyone that has PMed me saying that they've received something! I've updated the list and will keep track of everyone that has sent/received something!

Hilarious.  Next time, just say "yes it's been posted here before" instead of attempting to be witty.

Next time actually read the damn thread or at least assume something SOO generic and related to this thread had been posted in the first few days of it being popular, OR expect a comment like that when you don't stirpot.gif

Any good sources for IDing the shoes? The AEs are model #8873 (they even have a sticker inside from a local country club).
I used this to locate my horsebit Ferragamos that, coincidentally, I was wearing today!

What's your shoe size?

Well, I found out that it doesn't bounce so it's not a basketball.
