Nice! Would love to see how those work, definitely a cool pattern!

Nice! These types of things don't pop up around here often!

Edited to add: If anyone has some extra money in their PayPal account and is in a generous spirit, check out this thread:
Subscribe Now! Ongoing auction thread for the Ronald McDonald House Holiday Drive

Everything was donated by SF vendors and 100% goes to the Ronald McDonald house. Spoo has been generous enough to donate 10% of his auctions (that end Sunday) to the same charity and I think it's a great cause. We have the same foundation here in Austria and they do great work.

I wasn't familiar with the store nor most of their denim, but I threw a bid in here for a $500 gift certificate. If I happen to win, I'll need the denim-heads here to direct me!

I had the pleasure of chatting with the current CEO earlier this year at a conference in Kuala Lumpur. Seemed like a good guy.

Very interesting. Who knew the major houses did corporate wear. I guess if the prices is right...

Just a tip, if you hit "quote" under the post to which you're referring, you will be able to comment directly to someone's post. I assume in this case you're either referring to the Loro Piano coat or Nat smile.gif

1 store today. 10+ ties, Brioni, Versace and Bizzocchi. 1 pair of basically unworn Zegna blue suede slip ons. Details on your late local news in my omnibus "everything I've found but didn't have time to take pics of" post later this weekend ... ish.

Anyone need some socks? My local Marshalls had a few and I finally got over there (Left of Navy are large, Navy and those on the right are all size regular)

Picked up this PRL cardigan for myself. Lambswool with nice leather knot buttons. There is some fraying on one cuff of the sweater, any way to hem or crop that into a shorter cuff?

Finally, another first for me. And, I *think* they are shell. But, has anyone ever seen microcreasing before on shell? If you look at the pictures, one looks clearly shell and the other has microcreasing. Was it JPMorris who had bought the mismatched shoes? The inside style numbers match on both shoes and a quick google comes up with shell for that style number. Still, the microcreasing has me second-guessing. 10 D

Thanks, I thought I had hit that button, but apparently not! It was in reference to the LP coat.

Shell, that is creasing not microcreasing and polish accumulation.

Did you click on the spoiler? Have I been learning all wrong? This isn't microcreasing?

Those are pretty nice! I actually just picked up a pair of Trafalgars that I found on eBay that had just been listed with a BIN of $16. They happily shipped them here and I had been searching for a black silk pair for black tie. They appear unused to me and I'm happy with them. They actually arrived today and I just opened them (they appear navy, but they're black)...

Mad, mad props to Catside on a little Barbour for Barbour trade action. Finally got my hands on the jacket today and it is awesome. I'll probably send it to them for re-proofing just to start ownership off with a know baseline, rain performance wise. I'm so stoked.

I think you'll find that my jacket might be a little older(did some research and it might be from the late 90's), with a more simplistic set of tags, but that thing is like new waxy, it stands up on its own. And the zipper is still bright. Previous owner must have never worn it.

Stayed up all night shooting the meteor shower, and figured hey I'm awake, might as well hit some shops in OC at opening. Nice having the shop to myself, but there was absolutely fuckle to be had.

Also, CT guys check in and let us know you and yours are alright.

Def shell, number verifies it too. The creases are a bit atypical in that pic, but they are def shell.

^ Happened next town over...sick to my stomach. My wife works at a school a couple miles away. Scary times.
