Unforgettable, but I doubt if you are collecting more cookie points by constantly reminding. censored.gif

I haven't searched the thread for this so it may be OFN, but any of you heard the song Thrift Shop by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Wanz?  A little bit hilarious.

This deserves better pics, but I have to share this find from last night, one of my all-time favorites.

Brooks Brothers tux from 1949–1962, 43 L, great condition.

Fits me well so keeping. Now I regret passing on a pair of Brooks Brothers opera pumps for $30 a few months back.

I also wanted to say that the "Cheapies" is an AWESOME idea and I can't wait to see how the list will look! I'm sure it will remind me of a number of icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif finds.

Also, secret santa stuff: If you've received your gift, please let me know. I know a number of people have posted their finds, but I have 32 people unmarked on the "received" part of my list. I don't want anyone to get stiffed, so please shoot me a PM if you've received it (unless you already have, in which case I marked you on the list). Thanks!

Had an ok day today. The rest of the week has pretty much been a bust.

Gimo's Men's Shearling Coat. Eu 52

Deadstock JC Penny plaid trousers. Had to buy them. Deadstock condition, my size and I think I can pull them off since they aren't gigantic bell-bottoms but rather have a slightly tapered leg opening.

Women's tops

Ties. If you don't know, Italo Ferretti are made by Brioni.

Interesting Zegna deets

Pardon my ignorance, but can anyone chime in on this. Is this a grenadine?

Recent T&A shirts

Henry Lloyd / Mercedes Benz slim pullover. L but fits M

Zegna for the International Air Transport Association!

Those guys are based in Montreal, so you'd think they'd go the Hermes route or something a little more upper crust and French. Truthfully, they're all a bunch of nice dudes. I had the pleasure of chatting with the current CEO earlier this year at a conference in Kuala Lumpur. Seemed like a good guy.

Nice! These types of things don't pop up around here often!

Edited to add: If anyone has some extra money in their PayPal account and is in a generous spirit, check out this thread:
Subscribe Now! Ongoing auction thread for the Ronald McDonald House Holiday Drive

Everything was donated by SF vendors and 100% goes to the Ronald McDonald house. Spoo has been generous enough to donate 10% of his auctions (that end Sunday) to the same charity and I think it's a great cause. We have the same foundation here in Austria and they do great work.

I wasn't familiar with the store nor most of their denim, but I threw a bid in here for a $500 gift certificate. If I happen to win, I'll need the denim-heads here to direct me!
