Well, today, I fucking found this, for about a tenth of what I paid for the one off ebay. ffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gif In her size and everything! Why thrift gods do you toy with me so! And before you guys jump all over me for this, I know this isn't the Burberry "porsum" that we are all looking for, but this is what she wanted. And to be honest, these vintage made in England jackets are pretty sweet, still has the D rings to hang your grenades from. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Eazy....simple solution. Let your wife pick out which one she likes best, then sell the other on eBay. With some luck maybe you recoup all your costs.

Found a couple of nice items yesterday, went to the sketchier part of town, the prices and items were a lot better, might have to keep this new spot on my regular rotation. Nothing earth shattering here, but they are all quite nice.

First, a 100% cashmere SC, made in Montreal, Canada, canvassed, it even has a tag that says hand made biggrin.gif

A DB overcoat. The tag says Paris, so I thought it was some town in the States, until I see the inside tag. It was made in Jan 1969, and it's heavy, probably can stop a bullet biggrin.gif Size 42 or so, might be available.

A whimsical tie from Ferragamo

BB shirt, spread collar, make in US with Italian fabric? Available

Okay, remember when I said that I would be done with exams and the Kraken would be released? Well, I was able to hit up three stores today. What almost turned into a fail turned into a pretty good success

Lesson 1 learned: Do not let yourself sit on eBay during exam time where you feel like you can buy anything. Made a pretty crazy purchase, but I think I got a good deal. I may end up selling two to pay for the other two. I have been so good lately turning down great deals on the thread, but broke down in in a weak moment. Here is what I picked up...Staple Charcoal, Navy (picture looks gray...), a charcoal beautiful blue overlay, and a flannel. I really don't need the flannel here in Florida, but the deal was too good to let them sit there.

That is beautiful. Makes me want to stick a pipe in my mouth and go shoot an elephant. Congratulations.

I thought that was kind of an obvious one with all the people retiring and moving south. Then they realize they don't need all the warmer clothing...

Rock on...
