You guys are sending me mixed messages here eh.gif
but after reading your responses above, I guess I should wait for Christmas, after all.

Any guesses other than the croc wallet? It's not the right shape for a Rolex box but maybe a Patek Philippe? How much would one weigh? The box feels heavier than a pound but not really two pounds. Maybe I'll try to weigh it on the digital scale in the morning.

Seriously, too bad it doesn't fit you. I thrifted a Piatelli for Barney's casual shirt (posted it a few days ago) and it's great. Wear it all the time.

Had an epic near miss today. Was unbelievably sad. 20+, probably around 25 beautiful sportcoats. Recent Oxxford, StAndrea Sartorial, Belvest, Brioni. Cashmere, alpaca, all sorts of exotic fabrics.

Every.

That's called "thrift find where prior owner hung his clothes on bedroom rack exposed to elements". Window or door open, no screen, moths come in, bam!

My personal near misses usually revolve around missing pants to otherwise great looking jacket. Holes do not bother me much, if they are small and reweavable, I would be willing to go out of pocket if the item was worth it. Obviously if it is an orphan jacket holes would be deal killer of the century.

In your case, Oxxford Saint Andrews Brioni are not worth fixing if sport coats - margins are too small.
